Got D3100 body + Tamron 17-50 non VC at RM2700 (plus the freebies). I am a satisfied man.

D3100 better than D5000 for the new tech. Even the staff at Nikon Centre BTS told a person testing the cam, buy D3100 better.

D5000 according to NikonRumors is starting be to discontinued. So you might wait for the replacement.. If u have the patient ..... and hope the price wont balloon like D7k.
