We've got a second Beta for Evernote 4.4 (v.4.4.0.4644). This version includes the addition of the feature Copy Note. With copy notes we'd added a few new concepts. Copy a note by right clicking on it in the note list and select "Copy Note>" and select a previously destination notebook or "Notebook..."

You can copy notes from a shared notebook into your own notebook or vice versa. You can also copy your own notes.

You'll notice that, if you select "Notebook..." you can configure how copy notes works. By preserving tags and created/updated dates, you've got a great way to duplicate a note from a shared or public notebook into your own account. If you don't preserve those values then it's a great way to create a template note (such as a meeting notes template) and you can use Copy Note create a new copy. You may want to create a notebook in your account called "Templates" and keep notes in there that have frequently used outlines.

Here's another exciting update to Evernote 4.4 Beta (4.4.0.4697). In this release we've added note navigation history browsing. With back/forwards arrows in the toolbar you can navigate back through notes you've previously browsed using note links or previous searches. I think you'll be amazed how useful and powerful this is. In addition to making note links more useful, it's great if you're working on a note, want to search for another note and then flip back.

This version also includes several additions to drag and drop from the note editor. You can now drag and drop resources into, out of, and within a note.

We've also fixed some note editing bugs (including a personal pet peeve) and some issues reported in copy note.

We've published another release of Evernote for Windows beta (v. 4.4.0.4736). This version adds navigation buttons to the single note view, adds a "Note" menu, fixes several reported bugs from the previous beta.

We've got the first RC candidate for the Windows 4.4 release (v. 4.4.0.4818).

This version still packs a punch with a great new feature, Snippets. We've changed the mixed view to the snippets view. Snippets (similar to what we have to Android, iPhone and the web) display the text of your notes in a condensed form so you can get more information when scanning the note list. The snippet view has three modes: text only, image only and image with text.

We have made some bug fixes and now have a new beta 4 available. Most notably, we have a fix that improves syncing of large accounts. This should also improve syncing on slower internet connections. Please let us know how this works out for you. Other fixes include improving incremental search and the attachment:true filter for more advanced searches.

We've very excited to give you this new Beta to try out. It has the very popular Favorites Bar implemented. This includes the ability to scroll (and auto-scroll) and filter through notebooks and tags. Please test this out and let us know if there are any issues. It is still early stages and we'll be working on it.

We also have some new clipping options (largely for the FIrefox Clipper) as well as Turkish and Malay languages.

The favorites bar should tell you if you've selected a notebook or tag. We're also experimenting with showing multiple tags in the favorites bar, though it does end up taking up a bit of horizontal space.
