seriously guys, how does the N8 compare to other flagship phones from other makers?

Nokia is ditching Symbian soon.

personally the n8 is not bad at all

good:
-the s^3 is surprisingly fast (nokia is famous for super updates so expect better improvement in the near future)
-touch screen sensitive,
-12 mega pixel camera rocking. night photos amazing, can even do close-up shots.
-video recording and playback amazing too.
-signed games downloadable from forum sites, no need download from ovi (including angry birds)
-phone is great doesnt break off while talking, loudspeaker good,
-video calls as good as usual able to call to any phone with video call capability, never tested with iphone4 though.
-16gb built in memory rox, u can add up to 32gb mem card if u want
-hd replay rox, hdmi cable option rox too
-usb cable for pendrive connection another good thing,
-casing beautiful,
-gorilla glass used for touchscreen, doesnt get scratched easily
-3 widget screens more than enough (good thinking nokia).
-thanks to all the nokia bashing the phone is cheap @ RM999 with maxis rm 50 value plan and 500mb data plan
-SIP access available for free VOIP (yet to be tested)

bad :
-built in gps sux
-built in compass kinda sux coz it doesnt seem to be able to point north
-browser sux
-youtube player sux, too many clicks needed
-ovi store website sux(for some reason the buttons in ovi dont work properly)
-battery replacement method sux
-no free ovi music 1 year (music express phones get it 1 year free download)
-the store has been around for years, yet it loses out to android and iphone for games and apps (but this is fine coz not everyone is game/app freak).
-nice camera but photo browser sux! thankfully u can download nokia beta photo browser from ovi. looking great once they improve the speed of the photo browser beta.

not sure about that but Nokia said they will carry on with both symbian and maemo(memo) for now.

n8 shutter speed quite fast.

can get the water froze effect.

changing between the 3 homescreens isn't as smooth as other HTC android phones however the album art flow and picture viewer is surprisingly smooth.
pinch and zoom is smooth too.

speaker wise is not as good as xpress phones but still manageable.

amoled screen is very vibrant.

it's best to test it out first hand guys.

the test unit i have is good. firmware and resolution is ok dont see any issue with it.

so i've been looking at youtube videos and it looks ok.

good for u. resolution.. The iPhone4 is almost 3 x the resolution.. and other Android also like almost twice the resolution of the phone...

Not true..my N78, ori from Zitron jatuh many times..screen also crack a bit, still okay..waiting to get N8 now..btw IPhone for wannabes and fags onli if u're a guy...

my n73 also no prob drop all the time. dunno bout those new touchscreen ones though

i will avoid buying from you guys that said u dropped your phone and it survived. dont want to take chances

my boss bought it for his whole family... looks really cool though, much better design that IP4, but there's once when the phone ring non-stop, and when my boss wants to take out the battery, he just realized, it has no detachable battery...
