my rig as below: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 running @ default clock speed which is 2.66Ghz 2GBx2 DDR3 1333Mhz RAM MSI MS7519 P45-C51 motherboard 500GB 32MB WD green HDD Sapphire ATI HD4770 GPU Cooler Master Power Plus 500Watt PSU Cooler Master Elite 333 chassis i'm facing CPU temperature problem 55-62 degree celcius on idle 85-103 degree celciue on full load/gaming/flash game may i know how to solve this problem? its too hot i guess (using original Intel normal heatsink) thanks

Hi Brandon, you can always reapply the thermal paste...or u can re-check the HSF mounting...Maybe the CPU and HSF is not proper mounted.

i've plan to change the heatsink Cooler Master Vortex Plus CPU cooler will it solve the temperature problem effectively?

Just get the Corsair H50 or H70 Hydro cooler. You'll be amazed with it's result. MY Q6600 overclocked to 3.1Ghz is idling at 35C now.

coolermaster hyper 212+ plus, tuniq tx3 thermal paste, will do the job. won't cost u much but gives u more than enough even with some oc.

COOLER MASTER HYPER 212 PLUS CPU COOLER cant fix my case coz my PSU is on top Hyper TX or Vortex plus will do i think
