Hi, I hope some lecturer will read my post and share their experience here and reply my questions below. 1. I was wondering how to become a lecturer in a local university besides waiting a job vacancy advertisement in a paper or in the website. 2. I’m interested to become a lecturer but the problem is I don’t have a master yet. Will they consider if I’m only having a degree? 3. How about a salary? If my current salary is higher than normal lecturer, are they able to offer a higher & competitive salary compare to me? At least same or higher than my current salary. Owh, before someone ask, I've a few experience in industry in various company including top 500 Fortune company and I believe it's time to contribute something to our country especially in education. Thanks

QUOTE(breaker84 @ Oct 25 2010, 04:02 PM) usually you MUST have a Master... some uni (UiTM) got "Young Scheme Lecture"... about salary, you can deal with them, usually there are an interview... which subject you prefer??? I don't have a master yet. Maybe I'll do it if any university want to offer me a good deal Subject that I prefer is computer and I'm specializing in something which I believe not so many people know about it I believe I can help students to get better job based on my working experience in the industry. I know a few lecturers and they have master. Surprisingly, their salary is lower than me.
