Hey .. wireshark, if not mistaken, u r specialist in Telecommunications with data packets analysis or some sorts of it right?

In local university, definitely u need at least master to become lecturer. For private university, I am not sure with that. Salary of lecturer may not high as u working in current company, but their benefits are good and time is free. If one day when u become the government staff, don't be shocked by their benefits, government are providing good benefits for them. Another thing is, no matter how good or bad of your teaching quality, you will never be fired, trust me. So far as I see, one lecturer mostly handle 8 hours of lecture per week (rare case, other lecturers might just have 4 or 5 hours only). For sure, politic issues are less inside university, if u capable, u can apply for associate professor, no limit number of that, unlike outside companies, there is 1 manager only for department. With associate professor title, then your salary and benefits can jump higher again. All these cases are referring to local university.

Depends on what you want.
