Any 1 got any review on different brand/ model of epilator? Wanna get 1 but dunno which is better n terms of function, price and durability. Suggestions pls... thx

im using panasonic's one. so far so good and have served me well for 2 years plus and counting. got it for only rm79.90 and its waterproof. but its a small one hence takes a long time if you wanna epilate legs. i use it for underarms only.

heard Braun's is the best but i also heard that they have stop selling epilators already. their price is around rm300+.

i saw a Braun 1 at Guardian, rm200-300. just wanna collect more info bout different brands n price. thx

I use Braun and has served me for more than 5 years, going to be 6 year soon, still doing good.

I keep it well. Mine not waterproof.

how does it feel like to use epilator? is the pain like waxing?

Hey there. I'm currently using Braun silk epi 7 or something like that. Wet and dry. Comes with lots of different heads. Doesn't use battery unlike my panasonic. And I love it very much. Haha. But it's around rm500+ or so.

Haven't tried waxing. But it depends which part you are planning to use it on.

An epilator cost that much? @.@ planning to use it on the legs and underarm....

There are cheaper ones. Like I've mentioned before. My first one was from panasonic. Around rm79.90 only. Good for underarms. Legs a bit hard cause will take lots of time. The expensive one I bought obviously will have other benefits lor. Can epilate bikini as well. But pain like shit only la. Haha.

Legs and underarms usually no big deal. Have you tried tweezing yourself before? Almost similar feeling just that it removes all the hair faster than tweezing manually. Also, you'll get used to the pain.

Your Braun is it pink color?
If so, I think my sister got the same as yours, it is quite new version, came out around 2009 if memory serves me right
It is really expensive BUT worth it.

Mine is the blue one. There's pink and white version I think.

Yes. Expensive! But very very worth it.I actually bought it from a forumer here for quite a good deal cause she exchanged it thru credit card points. It seems hard to find in retail outlets.

I dont think Malaysia has this version. I didn't came across any.

currently i use tweezer for underarms and wax strips plus occational tweezer for legs.... was looking for a faster solution than sitting there few hours just to tweeze.... lol....

will epilators cause small cuts like electric shavers? coz once i help my bf shave with electric shaver when press too deep for cleaner shave, will have small cuts and bleed.... kinda noob in this as its my 1st time hearing of epilators....

i went to search online for this epilator but cant find anyone selling it.... usually which department of a mall can find? pharmacies? electrical department where u get men shavers?

Ooh. Then the pain factor in epilating won't really affect you la.
Yes I know how long it takes to tweeze! hahah. Lots of time wasted. Back pain also after a while. lol

I don't think it will cut you at all. It's not sharp, just works as a many tweezers plucking very fast thats all. So sometimes I tend to get bleeds as well cause the hair pull out too fast.

I bought my first one in Jusco. But I heard they don't sell Braun epilators here already. I also heard that Braun's one are the best. But Panasonic not bad also la. Get the better ones, I think around RM200-300 or so.

i mailed braun's distributor to ask if i can find silk-epil 7 epilator in kl/pj.... they replied that i can get it from harvey norman but i havent check it out.... but now i'm not sure if i should spend so much on my 1st epilator since i dont know if i would like the effects it gives me?

Hehe. Dont worry babe.
At first the epilator switch on, the multiple tweezer noise may sound scary for you.
But once you started, you will never regret using it.
Your leg and armpit will be hair free and so refreshing.
It feels much better and comfortable than tweezer doing the job, fast and easy.
Give it a try.

It is up to your budget depends on individual.
Cheaper can also do the job, expensive of course has it's own benefit.

Is there like a huge difference between epilating when wet or dry? Those wet/dry epilators seem to cost so much more than dry only epilators....
