If you love racing on the track/circuit, again and again get Real Racing, NFS Shift or GT Racing: Motor Academy.

If you love thrashing the public road, racing on the street - NFS Undercover, Asphalt 5 and Asphalt 4

All using real cars except Real Racing but only Real Racing got Game Center and upcoming online multiplayer

i've been unable to update my apps since ytd, i can go in to App Store, browse and download Apps, but when i choose "Updates" it says cannot connect to iTunes Store, anybody experiencing same prob?

Playing Rage HD right now, it certainly is a carbon copy of Doom Resurrection. At least control- and gameplay-wise it is, it's a shooter-on-rail. Beautiful graphics though.

Weee I wanna download the lite version of that too!

hmm. took a while to download this game (RageHD). massive but extremely short. :\

ok so here are my gripes.
-it's on rails
-its really fast. there's no easing into the game and can't really enjoy the visuals if ur the player. for the onlooker tho its beri beri nais :3
-no gamecenter support? wtf?
-short.. very short gameplay. as for replayability. not that much of a motivation since ur pretty much competing with yourself. cuz there's no friggin gamecenter. whyyyyyy???

they might update it with gamecenter support in the future but that also means downloading another massive near 800 meg file. really bummed that there's no gamecenter support

but for $1.99 its pretty cheap for the experience tho. cuz the graphics are pretty impressive. or u could just wait for the next update. it'll make it more worthwile unless they decide to up the price but still. ur not missing much apart from the graphics.

and now its time for bug panic :3

Agree on the misgivings and the strengths mentioned about Rage HD. Pretty but short. But the level of "prettyness" is up there with Epic Citadel IMO.

Throughout its development cycle, it has been called Mutant Bash TV, and it is meant as an appetizer for the real Rage-based game coming to iOS. I hope this is just as what it was meant to be, "an appetizer" and hope that iD has better longer version of Rage installed for us in the future.
