I'm really not too pleased with this little puppy. As per the blurb, the graphics may well be as tasty as Mrs Redknapp, but they're identical to the 'normal' 2010 version of X2 Football. Basically you have to pay £0.59/$0.99 for the app PLUS a further five or six lots of IAP's, each costing another £0.59/$0.99 a piece! So what do you get for your hard earned? Well, you get the SAME game, with the only difference being each team updated with new transfers from the summer transfer window. What a con! You can easily spend £3.99/$6.99 for just a bunch of names. Yep, thats all it is. And I've spent £1.79/$2.99 to find that out. What a mug! If you're a stickler for the very, very latest and money & content isn't an issue, then go for it by all means. For the remaining 99% of iGamers my advice is plain and simple....AVOID! Nuff said.

In other related news, developer Crescent Moon is working on a universal update for Rimelands that is set to hit before this Christmas. We spoke with Crescent's Josh Presseisen this morning about the update. Here's a list of what he said to expect, and do note that it favors those who have finished the game:

-  Native resolution support, including higher-resolution images for cut-scenes.
- Bug fixes and AI tweaks
- New end game content, including more challenging bosses, art, and a dungeon that resets itself after you finish it.

The cost of this update is, of course, free.
