Call me sour grapes or what but I felt Newcastle have been very very fortunate despite our very poor display. Numerous errors yet unpunished, not to mention Fabregas and Walcott hitting the cross bar at vital moments in the game. On another day we would have gotten away with this with the few opportunities that we had but unfortunately it was not to be. Credit to Newcastle though who worked hard, but that doesn't mean they deserved every point they got today.

Fabregas' worst game in an Arsenal shirt. Period.

As for Walcott. Today showed how limited a footballer he really is. Park a defender who is just as quick beside him (today it was Enrique, correct me if I'm wrong) and he is nullified.

Chamakh. Good God why doesn't he just shoot. FFS.

Irritated and frustrated is all I could say looking at the Liverpool vs Chelsea score line at the moment.

Don't see what the hoo ha is all about re: Cesc's tackle. You see worse from Scholes almost every week which is usually accompanied by the usual "Hahaha Hehehe, typical forward's tackle from Scholesy there" from the commentators and pundits.

What a performance from Fabianski. Great way to bounce back after that disappointing match against Newcastle however my MOTM today is Chamakh. Fabianski was absolutely vital today as well and I take nothing away from him from his performance in goal. Some may argue it was his saves particularly the one at the end from Berra that won us the game. I agree to some extent but in the end no matter how you look at it its goals that win you games, and Chamakh was the man who got them all today.

Wolves was never going to be easy. Chamakh struck at perhaps 2 of the most vital moments in the game. The first to give us something to hold on to and the second to kill off the game to ensure the 3 points. Overall a great result and its another 3 points from a tricky away tie in the bag. Next up Goodison.

So Bendtner not even on the bench. Interesting IMO But I read somewhere that Wenger did mention Bendtner might not even be available for Denmark so I guess he must be genuinely injured. hmm.gif

So take Essien, Terry and Alex out and this is how Chelsea become.

Imagine in the past when we had virtually our whole defense and midfield obliterated through injury. Nobody could have coped as well and for as long as we did IMO
