Honestly, I don't consider Arsenal as young guns anymore. They are more than capable of taking some harsh punishment on the field. They also have a lot of grit in them to be feared with. I look at Song, Wilshere, Squillaci, Vermaelean, Denilson....heck even Fabregas....they can really dish out some pain towards the opponent.
I still remember fabregas' choke hold on Lampard a few years back. Good times mang. ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by funnyTONE: Nov 15 2010, 11:37 AM |

I also agree with kimhoong. Arshavin is definitely not the lazy type. There is a good reason why he has to stay top of the field. With less service to him, it may look like he is too lazy to play for the team.
Honestly, I appreciate his effort for the team. It may be frustrating to see him always losing the ball, but at least he is not timid to shoot and make a try for goals. Though he is not scoring lately, I believe he is still the great Arshavin of the earlier month when he arrived. Added on November 18, 2010, 8:07 am QUOTE(IsoZ @ Nov 17 2010, 04:31 PM) I'll miss him too. I simply love his cool attitude, a bit snotty but he justified that with his goals. But to be honest, I think he deserve to choose where he wanna play. He still has so much potential, but I feel that probably he is impeding that talent staying in Arsenal and being a sub. I do hope he'll stay though, but if he does leave...I hope he'll be a better player and avoid that cursed spell that always follow ex-gunners.This post has been edited by funnyTONE: Nov 18 2010, 08:07 AM |
