With the image detail that N8 produce & the movies it can play,trust me you'll run out of space soon.
I barely have free space with my 32GB N900.

If the price indeed dropped there will be 50+ people here going to be very unhappy laugh.gif

For 32GB I suggest you to go for class 6 or faster.Else you'll wait till your beard grow watching your phone copy files. laugh.gif

Usually the dead phone caused by damaged NAND/ROM memory that store the OS.
In N900 case there are 3 partition;root(OS),home(apps) & MyDocs(storage)
root is a stored in single NAND memory while home & MyDocs is in eMMC
In this case even if the OS partition is damaged it's still possible to save files from eMMC.

I've no idea how N8's memory partition.
