Such a thing happens? Never happened to me. But, when my laptop hangs, usually, i force switch off on the power button; if still cannot, i switch off power source and cabut the battery lol...

I havent tried all the streaming apps yet though, nat geo, CNN, TV8 etc... lets not talk bout the web browser, but what pisses me off is that videos played on N8 hav no subs. I put in 720p anime, mkv format, played smoothly, but no freakin subs...

That depends on location and reception also. In a cave in Sarawak and in KL where lock faster ah??

Yup, when clear sky = faster lock, but i said IN a cave. In KL everywhere also got wireless network, and buildings, quite a lot EM interference, also difficult to lock actually.
