Well if you are getting the warrantied set, it would not matter where you would get the device from as the warranty comes from the service center, not the point of purchase. The first thing you need to ask yourself if what colour do you want and then we can give you suggestions on where to get the device. I am not sure..but I got my green at pyramid last Sat, and the lady said that black is sold out..silver has 2 left and green has only 5.. so.. I guess the colour is the main thing.

Now whenever I would run an app, or play games or use the GPS function on that phone, the screen would never dim out. Its not the same for the N8, and even while using ovi maps.. it would dim out and lock.. Is there a setting for this, if so please do help thanks.

there is a setting in Ovi to Dim or always ON in the old N97...

not sure about why the speed lag... but do u ever consider it's due to network connection?? 

network is the main culprit... either wifi or phone network... poor network will drain batt like drink water, this same goes to wifi when the signal is low the phone will boost up from 40mW to 100mW transmit power...

lol...c'mon lar, same hardware, same firmware....there's no such thing as 2nd batch no problem, just that you didnt perform the specific actions to make the bug occur..mine is first batch, apart from feeling that it responds kinda slow, i didnt face any major bug also
spec different, hence coding different. See it this way...5800 camera image processing and 5530 implementation might be different, so the seperate the coding for the camera processing part. it will work fine by that camera module itself, but, when you join together with other modules like file saving, preview, etc etc, it might have different behavior due to the different coding, hence even though the spec is the same, OS is the same, some of the bugs would only occur on specific models...due to different programmers and codings.
my N8? well...browser crash when i click on email link lor...other then that, never encounter anything before wor...maybe mine also 2nd batch?
it's not he hates symbian, is cos people that used other platform will know, Symbian cannot compete with other OS as of now. I been using 6680 -> N851 -> N82 also, long time Symbian fan, but even i think that compared to iOS, Symbian is like a baby in comparison...
we don have Symbian, you only think that way because you lack of exposure to other platforms.
that one i think is OS issue, save the OS cache to wrong place...

you know how much power do you need to power a GPU? u know why gaming drains your battery like water? cos they uses GPU....your meaning is you want to use GPGU everywhere, and navigates thru the menu will also drain your battery at similar level of gaming? GPGPU is good, but it doesnt mean it must be applied everywhere, when battery life is a concern
