really 2nd batch and never encounter any problems.. maybe too many msg already... and i type msg damn fast..
lol...c'mon lar, same hardware, same firmware....there's no such thing as 2nd batch no problem, just that you didnt perform the specific actions to make the bug occur..mine is first batch, apart from feeling that it responds kinda slow, i didnt face any major bug also

@BuFung looking at ur siggy suddenly i got something feel weird bout symbian.the stable firmware applied on some phone and apply on another new model it became unstable? What the F***???for example, like 5800 and 5530..somebody explain bout this?bufung?Bbxiong?
spec different, hence coding different. See it this way...5800 camera image processing and 5530 implementation might be different, so the seperate the coding for the camera processing part. it will work fine by that camera module itself, but, when you join together with other modules like file saving, preview, etc etc, it might have different behavior due to the different coding, hence even though the spec is the same, OS is the same, some of the bugs would only occur on specific models...due to different programmers and codings.

bro.. why u so hate symbian..?
it's not he hates symbian, is cos people that used other platform will know, Symbian cannot compete with other OS as of now. I been using 6680 -> N851 -> N82 also, long time Symbian fan, but even i think that compared to iOS, Symbian is like a baby in comparison...
we don have Symbian, you only think that way because you lack of exposure to other platforms.

I have nothing to look at..
why u so hate Symbian? sei Ifag...

hahahaha.....
SGS problem is not software oh.. is hardware design fault... they use interior SD as a Cache.. the speed are too slow to use as Cache... that's why SGS lag... not the software or file system or watever problem...
that one i think is OS issue, save the OS cache to wrong place...

Network connection is a lame excuse. The UI can speed up if it utilize processor (or GPGPU) instead of relying on more to the network connections.

network connection is lame excuse? it's like your browser lar, if the page content is not loaded, what u want them to show?
QUOTE(Leo the Lion @ Oct 28 2010, 04:33 PM)
Well, since relying on processor is a s***, why not relying on GPGPU like BuFung says? And broadcom GPU is 2nd most powerful GPU on smartphone today after Nvidia Tegra (someone posted the link b4, can't find it now). Hope Nokia could utilize the GPU more coz it seems a waste let the GPU under-utilize like that

you know how much power do you need to power a GPU? u know why gaming drains your battery like water? cos they uses GPU....your meaning is you want to use GPGU everywhere, and navigates thru the menu will also drain your battery at similar level of gaming? GPGPU is good, but it doesnt mean it must be applied everywhere, when battery life is a concern
