Thing they don't get is that developers don't make their games "Steam must be used" for pleasure, they do it because they use Steamworks for achievements, chat, matchmaking etc.

GFWL does the same too, but in my opinion in a much poorer way.

Developers don't want to have to reinvent the wheel each time when companies like Steam provided the tool to easily plug stuff into their game.
From what I read also the Steamworks JDK is pretty easy to use

yes it is. but there are some people here able to buy using vpn. one of the lyn bought for me last time

gta4 needs at least 4 cores to run properly.

Yup. Just unlocked the 2 disabled cores on my phenom II x2 to x4 B55 few weeks back. Thanks for the input smile.gif

yeah gta 4 is core demanding.. quad core should have no problem. i running mine on a i5 rig now

gta iv is a great game but the port is crappy. the story is very deep and amazing. highly recommend you to get it =) RM30 is a steal bro biggrin.gif finish it and get its expansion too

Noted. Looking forward to play it. My last GTA game was San Andreas, didn't buy GTA IV due to a set of crappy rig last time.
