i have 2 steam account. 1 is for action/ FPS game. another is for RPG game.
how can i specify which game run on which account?
i don't want always change account to play certain game.
thank you.
*
I'm afraid you can't. Once the game is registered to account A, you'll have to play the game via account A. Merging of Steam accounts involve very very hard time in convincing Steam Support so I'll advise you to keep it as it is now. sad.gif

wah you really keat. You support all the games in objective?
I though no one will able to complete all cos no one will ever going to buy all the game that needed for objective.
But for the top award at there, I think you just need to complete total 10 objective in that total period.
Extra will not give extra chance for winning 100 games in list.
Just every 4 objective in every 2 days will give you extra chance for wining top 5 list game right?

I just hope to win top 5 games in list rather than 100 games cos dun have that fast internet/harddisk space to download/store all 100 games plus dun have enough time for that.
smile.gif
Get the top 5 should happy enough for this month.
So you have RUSE right? have you play the multiplayer? how is it?
Last time when I in beta, it is very lag and keep dropping that why I not buying it.
For L4D2, is it single player mission also can get those 6 uncommon infestion?
or must play VS.
dunno can make it in this 2 night or not.
*
For the bolded part, you can still get the achievement a few days later down the road. The 2 days limitation is meant for the price promotion only, not the achievement itself.

Is there a limit for on email account for how many guest pass it can release? i sent one to my another email..then my friend sent 1 more to it...and when my 2nd fren send 1 more to me, i didnt see it at all but my fren's steam said the guest pass had been sent successfully.
*
As far as I know, there's no limit at all as long as the guest passes are not activated. smile.gif

Try & ask your fried to resend the one you didn't receive. Sometimes it's due to Steam emo'ing.

Did you redeem any of the guest passes that were received prior to your 2nd friend sending the guest pass over?

If you didn't redeem the guest pass, it should still be listed in your friend's Steam client > Games > Manage gifts & guest passes... menu.

Can your friend restart his Steam client & recheck? rclxub.gif
QUOTE
I sent a guest pass to a friend, but he never received it. What now?

You can resend guest passes in case your friend's email invitation was lost. If you are resending to a new (or corrected) email address you should be able to resend the pass immediately. If you are attempting to resend it to the same email address the Steam system will make you wait 24 hours to prevent the spamming of users.

When you resend a guest pass the previously generated email will become invalid and the accept link within it will no longer work. Your friend must use the latest version of the email when accepting the guest pass.

Guys, if any of you make Steam game purchases using PayPal, check your PayPal profile to see if PayPal selected any of your recent transactions with Steam for review.

In the past, PayPal did it to me & caused my Steam account to get disabled since Steam misunderstood it as a scam / dispute.

I've just checked mine & has no problem logging in. TOUCH WOOD!

what you mean by review?
Is that when I login paypal, there is "My recent activity" at there will show my transaction, you mean at there the "Payment status" if show "under review" on valve transaction then valve will suspend my account?
We can't control that, it should be valve and paypal issue why related to us?

As long as I not dispute valve, it should be ok right?
so far I had using paypal so many year buying so many thing in SOE and valve, nothing is under review.

Anyone know why paypal want to review the transaction? (If me buyer and seller not complain anything, I dun understand why paypal want to review the transaction) . They though we "cleaning black money"?
Hope that it will not doing review on my transaction. I only using paypal to buy steam game and SOE game, if giving me problem, then susah already.

I tried to search but I've lost the screenshot that I attached to Steam Support. Basically, this is the message I'm getting in my PayPal's Resolution Center when my transaction with Steam was being selected for review. doh.gif

they should gives us free games, there so many times already we can't login to steam and they didn't even send us an email to explain what the causes. sleep.gif

Whenever your account gets disabled, you'll most probably receive no email from Steam. Steam expects you to raise a support ticket with them since a normal user will do so while a hacker will just discard this account once it's disabled & hunt for a new one.

About the current locked accounts I can't say, mine is working fine but I havent bought stuff for a while and I only pay through debit card since Paypal refuse any transactions with me

Just that some people in previous pages mentionned that could be some transactions that are being put under "review" by paypal due to whatever reason and Steam see that as a potential hack or fraud and block the account.

I would say it's something strange that's happening today, couldnt find anything about such issue on Steam forums either.
*
That would be me but I suggested that as 1 of the many factors since I was a victim once to that PayPal review. sweat.gif

However, with the rate of accounts getting disabled, I think it's safe to hit the Steam forum & check if there is a global accumulation of complaints going on there.

Be right back.

2 things that might be helpful to you:

1. Most of my replies from Steam Support came at around 4am - 6am. You might want to take a good rest first.

2. For my case, Steam Support didn't inform me right away that my account has been re-enabled. I actually tried login after a few hours while waiting & was very surprised when my login went through. If you're not gonna sleep, maybe you can try to login using web browser from time to time?

Don't expect that to happen. Steam will never release information that's related to security.

So Deimos is the suspect on this case??  brows.gif

where Deimos?? how about ur account bro?? still suspended??

Erm... I sincerely think that it's still too early to come to that conclusion since his PayPal didn't record any disputed transaction.

It's easy. Steam usually doesn't care how you get the game as long as you can prove that you're the legit owner of the account. The easiest way would be that your friend / relative bought it for you as a gift. smile.gif

A snapshot of receipt is much better than retail box.
Anybody can just give a screenshot of retail box, but not receipt.
*
Yup, anyone can get a random retail box. A photo of a handwritten note with CD-key, along with the said receipt would be the best. smile.gif

I mean, before block.
They are able to view your CDKey inside the Steam after they hijack your account.

And somemore, CDkey is not Proof of Purchase.
*
Err... but I do have friends who got their accounts hijacked. What they did was to write the CD-key on a piece of paper, place it on the Orange Box & took a photo. Upload the said photos to their Steam Support ticket & their accounts are reactivated.

For those who purchased via others (like me), you can request for the gifter to provide you the credit card details (name on card, card number & expiry date (the secret 3 numbers are not requried)). I have 1 guy who got hijacked & this is what Steam Support requested & the account was subsequently reactivated.
