QUOTE(TechnoG @ Oct 23 2010, 09:54 PM) IMO, Deck Legend or your wtv ducky keyboard is not consider as gaming grade. how so? they are similar to 7g or 6gv2, and yet steelseries call them gaming gear, in the end, mechanical was built for typist not gaming, it just migrated to gaming as ppl want faster response,to me, they just look like those China clones. ducky use cherry which is same as bw and 6gv2 /7g and yet they can be called gaming grade and ducky cant? |

QUOTE(darkskies @ Oct 24 2010, 12:48 AM) i wonder is there any type of mechanical keyboard they runs with a backlight and wireless . I notice most premium version of mechanical/gaming keyboards runs with a line. i doubt so, those led need more ooopmh , need haha so i think only wired.I read on Steelseries 7G that they even recommended PS2 connectors but i'm no longer runnin back to those connectors anymore since 90s. I prefer totally wireless to have a neater desk with lesser wires. ps2 is for nkro ma |

QUOTE(THEswordmaster @ Oct 27 2010, 10:09 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « here, some picture of my mech keyboard taken with my bro's camera, sorry for all the dust. >_< MxRed How much they cost? Added on October 28, 2010, 12:25 am QUOTE(xcen @ Oct 27 2010, 11:11 PM) Problem with stuff like cyberclean is that it doesn't clean those dirts trapped underneath the keys. Eventually we'll need to find a way to clean those dirts. I would prefer not to take out inidividual keys and clean it. I take my keys out and user Cyberclean , no problemsAny ideas? QUOTE(Iphone4Lover @ Nov 10 2010, 08:31 PM) BTW, can i go a bit off-topic? its not off topic, its still mechanicalHave anyone bought Black Widow locally already? Does it arrived in Malaysia yet? If yes anyone purchased from this seller b4? http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=ST&f=11&t=779204 If you know any answer then pls tell me, if you dono can just ignore it. THX. QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Nov 10 2010, 09:18 PM) That was what i thought at first. Then i double checked at geekhacks. why cannot it has macros.. not everyone plays o2jam now, its kinda dead.....http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=NKe...ogy+and+Results Honestly how can they say it's a gaming keyboard when it's only 2KRO. The minimum needed is 6KRO at least, but even then some gamers may need NKRO to get 7 simultaneous key presses for games like O2JAM. The BW looks nice alright, if you don't mind glossy finger print magnet; and you don't mind cherry mx blue switches; and 2KRO (which i doubt a gamer would be satisfied with for a so called premium kb). the BW lighting is good as it uses LEDs for each of the 104 keys. Your better of getting a Steelseries 6gv2 or 7g (if you like black switches); or a Filco (coming soon in December to malaysia ?); or if you want you can get a Ducky 9008 (either via Singapore bulk; or you start one for Malaysia if you want a better price); there's also the g80-3494 lycus-2 black (uses the rare cherry mx red linear switches, but harder to get, and have to use Tabao). It all comes down to which of these is cheapest ducky, filco, ss, all dont have macros......, some ppl need macros for wow, dota, etc strategy games, not everyone plays the same games... some need macros so they can cast skill quickly etc. and there is no such thing as 6kro requirement to be called a gaming keyboard, dont simply say...... QUOTE(Iphone4Lover @ Nov 11 2010, 01:20 AM) LOL no doubt that it is a ''gaming keyboard'' created for gaming purpose but the 2KRO really down it's value(usefulness) a little at least. Some game need high KRO and some game need macro. Thus it's potential to enjoy high KRO required game decreased... at least your not being bias But cant deny that it's specs and price still quite attractive. |
