Sandblast the front cover and be done with that problem. It's pretty affordable too actually, getting a blackwidow expert and sandblasting it to get a poor man's filco.

haha, i guess it's a fair trade if it means not having to wipe the dust and fingerprints off the keyboard regularly.

there's even the tenkeyless ducky on pchome for RM290+. let me know if you guys are doing an MO.

someone will have to go to custom to clear it and pay duties if the purchase exceeds rm500. if no one's up to it i guess i'll just do a solo order. NEXT MONTH.

This would be my dream blink on a mechanical keyboard, alas it's a scissor switch luxeed.

all leds are programmable to react the way you one. imagine each key lighting up and fades out as you type them. i jizzed.

The softer it is the less force you need. Means for long period typing, MX red is really superb.
Imagine you doing research and preparing your final year project report. 150 pages. Show time for MX red.

but why red? wouldn't blue be more 'fun' to type in with the acknowledging takatakatakatakataka and the tactile snap.

Don't take it the wrong way. That was a harmless question. I was just wondering what his subjective opinion was for going with the red switches.

QUOTE(xcen @ Jan 6 2011, 02:21 PM)
Are there any recommended methods to clean or prevent the keyboard from dust?

I put the plastic cover provided by Ducky on the keyboard whenever I do not use the keyboard but still a lot of dust accumulates on my keyboard. Not surprising because my room is open-air.

Wet cloths are only so good at cleaning the keyboard. I need something more convenient.

I haven't tried those portable vacuum... I don't know if they are really effective considering the dust actually sticks on the keyboard quite well.

This.

Not sure why it's not a hit on Amazon.
