I just got my Filco N-Key blue switch keyboard yesterday.
I was playing with it the whole night and totally fell in love with it.
My previous Microsoft SideWinder X4 keyboard cannot compare with this filco keyboard at all.
The build of the microsoft keyboard feel so cheap and the keyboard layout always make me mistype.
I really love the build quality of the filco keyboard and it's clicky sound. Tomorrow i will definitely order my color WASD keycaps.

Below is the photos i have taken to share with you guys.

Ok i've updated the lists.

If your name and keyboard still not listed, please let me know.

So many people got mech keyboards recently, it's hard to keep track biggrin.gif

But for a rubber dome, they gave usb NKRO equivalent. So it's not all that bad, just better had they made it mechanical switches  nod.gif

Mircosoft Sidewinder X4 software is very user friendly , the macro setup is easy. But hard to get use with the key layout , often mistype for example if i'm to press "a" key i pressed the "caps lock" key. The biggest mistake microsoft makes is they design and arrange the S1~S6 macro key at the left side of the keyboard.

I can type really fast now with my filco keyboard.

Maybe i should get a filco for my son and he is standard 1 and learning computer typing now. Must train him in the professional way and with the right tool.

Added on February 14, 2011, 8:10 amMalaysia already has Filco but pricey.

http://www.lelong.com.my/merchant/pcgamegear.htm
Even the Ducky i sold was cheaper by 100 compared to these Filco's and in my opinion is better.

Ya , i bought mine from them during cny , i pay pcgamegear by paypal. Their transaction is smooth and i receive my keyboard fast. I was thinking to get it from taiwan armygroup slightly cheaper with shipment to malaysia using paypal is about RM470. but then because during CNY Holiday i worry about the delay in shipment , also our malaysia Custom because it's such a expensive keyboard they will find all the reason just to tax you (i have bad experience with our lovely custom) . Not to forget about the warranty issue, if anything wrong to the keyboard all the way send back to taiwan is not fun.

Malaysia PC vendor is very funny when i ask them about the warranty ? They tell me is "1 year 1 to 1 warranty" . and i know they hardly can't make it 1 year 1 to 1 when really come into warranty claim.

guys any keycaps recommendation for my filco keyboard? beside filco original, i looking for some alternative keycaps that suite my filco keyboard.
is Ducky keycaps suitable for filco ?

biggrin.gif , i bought mine from them. everything when smoothly as my previous post state when i ask them about the warranty they say to me is 1 year 1 to 1.

actually i shop alot in lelong. normally all when smoothly, i like to deal with store that sincern in doing business. how to know that they are sincern ? write to them talk to them understand them.

i decide to go with them because i see that they are serious with their business, fast respond in replying email. they even email me my quotaion and invoice in electronic form from a online accounting system which impress me alot . and look at how they post thier product.

they might be new store but they are doing far more better then many others shop in lelong and even some well known retailer. just my 2 cent .

when is the next gathering ?
send a message la pls .

anyway i luv the mx blue clicky sound when i work alone at night it make me awake and not so boring. suggest for ppl who use to work at late night alone biggrin.gif

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Mar 5 2011, 04:36 PM)
Hm
ok just got back from the gathering. Started at 2pm, but ended at around 4:20pm (longer than expected since we were waiting for Skin to arrive.) Anyway this was what went down.
I arrived first.

Quest arrived second.

THEswordmaster arrived third.
skincladalien arrived fourth around 3:30pm or so >-<;
Everyone else fong fei kei :{
So anyways, basically only me and Theswordmaster brought keyboards. I brought my 2 keyboards + keycaps; and swordmaster brought his cherry red and also a black ducky keyboard.

Quest brought the laptop which was very useful :} so kudos for that. We had internet access so we played some o2jam, and starcraft 2. Tried installing bullet storm but the laptop was kinda slow.

Skinclad brought the camera but there really wasn't many keyboards as we had planned, so we didn't end up taking pics in the end cause not much point doh.gif  Also by the time skin arrived, swordmaster had already left.
Anyways it was a good gathering, got to meet some of the Lowyat members (nice people), and we did get to try out cherry mx black, brown and red. Sadly blue, buckling spring, topre were a no show :{

I think the consensus was we all pretty much were impressed with the cherry mx red switches. The brown was slightly more stiffer compared to it. Personally i'm fine with either brown or red. I won't go through the trouble of selling off my Ducky and getting a red cherry keyboard. Nobody liked the blacks  laugh.gif

But if i did have a choice, i'd probably get a red. But then again red is limited to either cherry g80-3494; Filco or a Leopold.

I prefer ducky tiger edition casing over the 3494; i prefer the duckys cherry stabilizers compared to the filco; and the leopold doesn't have a compatible spacebar for my double shot set. So it all ends back to just sticking to my Ducky Tiger cherry mx brown keyboard :}
Anyway that concludes our first lowyat mech keyboard club gathering :} thx to those who participated.

oh no , my hope is gone. Guru'board cancels Miniguru keyboard project
reason is "lost faith in being able to sell the initial production run."

(: too expensive . all mechanical keyboard is expensive.

the whole thing behind is a successfully marketing plan by cherry MX switch (: .
