Das Ultimate, Filco Majestouch MX Blue (blank key), Happy Happy Keyboard Professional 2 (HHKB) previous user reporting in.
I tested my friend's Realforce 87U Tenkeyless 55G (too stiff) and Filco Majestouch MX Brown (great kb) .
To me, Das is good (tactile), but clicky (loud!) Filco keyboard is great (more options - black, blue, brown switches) Happy Hacking Keyboard is one of the best keyboard so far. I LOVE IT (tactile feel, sound is sweet!!!) Realforce 86U (variable weight)? Out of budget. I will try it in the future.

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Nov 4 2010, 06:01 PM) Hm this thread starting to get too big. PM me in case i miss adding you to add you to the list. Added on November 4, 2010, 6:10 pmHere's the review http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/1678/giga...oard/index.htmlI didn't know Gigabyte had mechanical keyboard even as early as 2008 :/ Sooner than Razer did anyway. Someone mentioned the Gigabyte had build quality issues, not sure what exactly :/ but from the review they reckon @alvin So das blue clicky is loud. But what about Filco blue clicky ? Is that acceptable or do you reckon a cherry brown kb is needed if noise is a main decision factor Cherry blue is clicky(loud). Tactile feel of cherry blue is great. You will like it for sure. I personally prefer quiet environment. So, I choose Cherry MX Brown. The sound difference (noise) between Cherry MX blue and brown is significant. If you have extra money, you may try Happy Hacking Keyboard Pro 2 and Realforce. It is worth the premium.

I will stay at home during semester break (December). You may contact Top-Gun. He has all keyboard mentioned above except Filco Majestouch Cherry MX Blue and Das Ultimate. My HHKB Pro 2 was sold to him 3 months ago. I bought it at $299 USD ($254 kb + $45 shipping fee). FYI, the current price of HHKB Pro 2 is $275 USD (not include shipping fee yet)

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Nov 4 2010, 09:24 PM) Jesus christ so expensive. Awww thats too bad :{ i'm selangor. I generally don't encourage people to buy a Das keyboard. Some problems happen in Das keyboard. You also know that. Filco Majestouch produces standard quality keyboard. Once you have a Filco keyboard and want to have better typing experience, you should consider Topre Electrostatic Capacitive Key Switches keyboard (Realforce / HHKB).
