Dont just try BlackWidowUltimate to judge blue switch. Try BlackWidowExpert one. It should be what normal blue switch should feel like instead.

It should be noticeable. You need to release the key fully(more than the ''click'' point) to register the keypress next time.

Look at the force and distance graph to roughly get you what is the different.

Just realise that this KB is heavier than other mechanical KB. 3 KB weighted more than 6KG already...

I think he said it clearly, the new batch of X4, i think MS improved the ghosting effect and made the NKRO possible, then X4 really become kings of membrane keyboard. Holy.

But will microsoft jump to the mechanical bandwagon ? Or more importantly will Logitech ?

Razer has already made the switch, yet for their first mech keyboard they made it 2kro, wtf ??? also cherry mx blue switches which suck at double tapping and are more prone to wear because unlike other non clicky switches, dirt can get trapped and wear it out faster compared to the other switches.

Cherry corp keyboards are stopping production of double shot keys was it in 2010 or 2011 not sure.
The only upside is the recently surge in Taiwanese/Chinese/Korean keyboard clones making better mechs although with lasered pbt keys mostly.

None of them have opted for doubleshots or even dye sublimated keys which are costly. Instead their going for plated mounted cases, aesthetically pleasing, and feature rich mech keyboards.

I doubt that Logitech or even MS will jump over the mechanical switch.
1st, it increase the price of kb but not necessary increase the profit.
Next, i feel like those 2 big companies are too ergo to cooperate and use Cherry switch from German. May be if they want to jump into mechanical hype also probably will create their own switch...

hi moogle, what would be the deciding factor in your opinion in choosing filco and ducky? since ducky is only rm220 RRP in taiwan for full NKRO while filco cost 300 (non) and 340 (nkro)

well, if you factor in the shipping, it's around RM 400

SG Mo ducky the ship from China/Taiwan.

So if you order from the SG MO, you just paying extra for shipping. May as well order from the source and ship directly to be cheaper.

The only reason i did it at the time was because only the SG MO had it on offer back then until pchome came along.

So i pretty much paid 500+ just to get my ducky.
