Old DAS models had issues with their controllers. Newer models supposedly have fixed the issue. However DAS keyboards are known to have crappy key caps because they wear out very fast. Also, they have a glossy finish like the Razer Black Widow, which makes it a pain to keep nice. I'm not sure if it's pcb or plate mounted. But the stuff i mentioned earlier is a bit worrisome. I think the DAS may have a usb port, but honestly it's hardly worth mentioning because it would have little value unless you want to plug your usb coffee mub warmer Some DAS reviews Das Silent http://jseliger.com/2009/11/01/product-review-das-keyboard/DAS III Professional http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=Island:4698This post has been edited by Moogle Stiltzkin: Dec 24 2010, 05:36 AM

Yeah the leopold quality from the review looks better than the Ducky and Filco. (by a bit. More of a refinement really)
It seems it may not be compatible with the geek hack doubleshots. But seeing as the default pbt laser etch is already good, doesn't really matter.
But it kinda did for me since i wanted to use doubleshots cause i'm pretty fussy :}
Anyway good choice.
May i know where did you order from ? the e shop ?

QUOTE(jasmineivan @ Dec 26 2010, 02:00 AM) SCII is a game that very concern on the APM, with MX blue you can spam fast?? (i means a single key) MX blue is not really good in doing double tap or key spamming. So if say you are a hardcore SCII player, don't think you can spawn the creeps as fast as using other switches. QUOTE This is one of the better known clips on Youtube regarding APM. You'll notice how much more is required for StarCraft versus WC3. Watching any pro SC:BW player from his camera view is kind of insane in late game, because they are just doing so much and bouncing around constantly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbpCLqryN-Q

QUOTE(Cyclonechuah @ Dec 24 2010, 10:13 AM) Hey, guys. My Leopold Keyboard FC200R Tenkeyless will ship by DHL from Korea at Monday. Hopefully It will went smoothly. I've heard from their employee that they already preparing to expanding branch towards China and Hong Kong.(this might let us purchase Leopold Keyboards in future much more easily thru China) And now, they are interested as well as setting a retail system in Malaysia, so Malaysians could purchase them once they arrived. Estimated 2011. The Keyboard Price tag is still not yet confirmed. But According to XE Money Convert. South Korea Won Converted To Ringgit Malaysia. The Price is Around RM335. So you can expect the price to be around RM300. I'm actually very looking forward for the Leopold Keyboard right now, because sixty and clickclack from geekhack did agree the keyboard has very good overall quality as well as thicker Keycaps. So i will be the 1st Malaysian to ever own a Leopold FC200R. I'll post Picture Comparison after i get the keyboard. Just a few questions. So 300 ish is for the 10keyless; then what about the 104 key leopold ? How much will that be. And when you mentioned 300; did that already include shipping costs to Malaysia already ?

Nice keyboard.
See i told you the Leopold came with double shot extra keys; whereas ducky just gives you colored wasd keys :/
Also that Leopold i believe only comes as lasered pbt keys. See how the picture shows the wording to be much cleaner and clearer than the Ducky.

Gratz on free keyboard For a target price between 3xx-4xx i think that would be perfect. Thats the pricing slightly the same as a Razer Black Widow; and cheaper than a Steel Series 7G. The thing is Chuah; how many Malaysians are willing to fork out that much for a keyboard ? They might not know the difference between a mechanical and rubberdome. QUOTE(OCN_fssbzz @ Dec 29 2010, 01:30 PM) their double shot cap are as thin as the SP one. I think sp made those key caps. I got some sp doubleshots with me; they look exactly like those Leopolds. I just received my orange "X%&#!" double shot key from pimpkeyboard.com
MY first impression was.... oh shit; thats a huge mofo.
Makes me wonder whether my other SP key set are smaller than usual lulz.
Quite thick too. The underneath mold is much thicker and nicely done as well.
The texture as well is very different. It's sort of slippery without any texture. Whereas my Geekhack doubleshots have a grainy texture and is not slippery.
Anyway since this key will be replacing the ESC key, i don't think it will matter that it is much elevated than the rest of my set since it's at the far top left out of the way of other keys. In fact it may be better that it is elevated; so it's easier to touch type and know that is the escape key.

300-400 seems acceptable.
If you buy yourself overseas may cost like 500 range for a cherry 80-3494 lycus cherry mx red (that is after including shipping price)

@chuah Yeah man i thought there were 2 of you Anyway thats good news. Cherry mx red is linear non tactile; very easy to actuate with it's soft spring. So if your worried about black being too painful for typing; theres the red. but then again is red too soft ? A step up would be the brown that is less soft with a slight tactile bump This post has been edited by Moogle Stiltzkin: Dec 30 2010, 04:15 PM
