u can just order the cherry mx spring itself. just the spring. which is way way cheaper. the whole process of modding, probably wont be more then 3~4 hours. |

QUOTE(xcen @ Jan 6 2011, 12:21 AM) Are there any recommended methods to clean or prevent the keyboard from dust? air can. put upside down and spray it.I put the plastic cover provided by Ducky on the keyboard whenever I do not use the keyboard but still a lot of dust accumulates on my keyboard. Not surprising because my room is open-air. Wet cloths are only so good at cleaning the keyboard. I need something more convenient. I haven't tried those portable vacuum... I don't know if they are really effective considering the dust actually sticks on the keyboard quite well. or just go and get data vac. |

QUOTE(Iphone4Lover @ Jan 9 2011, 03:15 AM) Added on January 9, 2011, 5:16 pm Price, bro, price. BTW, the avaibility of choc mini is really limited. noppoo is RM184 keyboard itself without any shipping. noppoo cherry mx brown is RM212 itself without any shipping. QUOTE(N1ck @ Jan 20 2011, 03:30 AM) Moogle, can you comment on the difference between cherry brown switches and your g15? Is cherry brown switches lighter? cherry mx brown compare to cherry mx black are big differents.I was working with a dell membrane keyboard. Keys are very light and when I went back to my 7g I just could not get used to cherry blacks again. So Im looking at cherry browns now. mx brown require way less force to press the key down for it to actuate. |

QUOTE(Iphone4Lover @ Jan 22 2011, 09:06 AM) The only option that fir in the budget will be BlackWidowExpert. good recommendation! If you want to import from Taiwan then Ducky 1008 will be a better option(NKRO, 4extra keys and more choice of switches). It should cost less than RM 280(incluse postage) and buy more will be cheaper. new batch 1008 are better QC |
