hahaha. yeah i have to agree on that one.

Well, that is my bad actually, because i used to mechanical keyboard for a long time, because i use old ACER keyboard which is ALPS switchs, those keyboard are noisy as hell compared to current all cherry mx switch type.

For my, i don't really bottoming out the key most of the time now, but it's still a habit that i need to change.  laugh.gif
*
Don't think need intentionally change this habit, after using for long time, then your typing will getting closer and closer to the actuation force and height (my 2cent)

yea i've check them out and probably be waiting for the ultimate=)
the feelings is top notch though=)u plannin to get one too?

Depends what you expecting from your keyboard.
If you looking a good keyboard for typing and some gaming, not really need the backlit, expert version BW with MX Blue is good enough.
True, the backlit is better than the letter printing if backlit is used in dark. But if say there is bright enough printing is actually better than backlit and some time will feel the illumination is too dim also. For me, the backlit just a unnecessary gimmick of some company if the user are not really using the keyboard in dark. (the case like purposely turn off the light because keyboard having backlit is exceptional)

Based on all those models and except the Filco's leatherette wrist rest which is not bundled with keyboard, 7G is the most idealistic typing keyboard for me because of the palm rest.

Great palm rest. Any way 7G's palm rest just look cool even though not really as comfort as leatherette palm rest.

guys i would like to enquire about razer blackwidow ultimate can it support 7 keys pressing at once ? for gaming o2jam btw
*
Depends you using which 7 keys, it might be possible for combination.

If you using ZXC then sure fail. BW considered 2KRO based on ZXC failure.

Nice keyboard, but think some where can be improve more. Such as at WASD maybe can put MX black since frequent usage and prevent mistake keystroke registration.

Added on December 3, 2010, 11:05 pmAnyway, the black ducky leatherette rest just awesome. Feel like wanna get 1 piece.

mechanical keyboard for SkyDigital biggrin.gif

to all SC2 players ?
*
Just a simple mechanical keyboard with MX Brown switches, nothing special also, don't think it specialized for any game.

By referring to a reseller, the estimated price will be RM389. i might be wrong of course.
BW does not support full NKRO sad.gif
what a name: Mechanic。 LOL
By any chance that this thing looks quite similar to SS Shift?
http://en.skyok.co.kr/product.php?code=605
*
The price will be just about there, I think it won't deviate much.
Not supporting NKRO most of the time no really creating any problem.
If I not mistaken, it fail at ZXC and combination of 3 keys with 2 arrow together another key from unoptimized area.

WASD area should be covered with anti-ghosting effect, fps shouldn't be any problem.
Don't think any1 using ZXC buttons together, what i can imagine is if use it to play racing game with the navigator arrow button and press another button then crash liao.

It is actually quite a popular keyboard in Korea, especially for the newbie SC2 player.
Mostly because of how cheap it is for a mechanical keyboard (it's actually quite a bit cheaper in comparison to the razer BW Expert even).

Not specialized for any game yea, but it is a rather good all-rounder.
But when you consider some of the best SC/SC2 players are using it and owning everyone in it, at this level it is more on skill instead.
Again all boils down to the price, which I'm sure you'll pick it up once you see it either ways.
*
The price can lower than BW expert then really attractive.

professional gamer like fruit dealer, they all prefer good quality kb, great performance, NKRO, very durable..that's all they need.
no need bling bling, or any macro keys. =)
104 key keyboard without any macro, simple and clean kb. people will like it.
*
lol, from your post, sounds like I means simple means not good.
Simple no problem,7G super simple as well, but is my favorite toy.

I hate glossy sureface then sticky for fingerprint, looks oily and greasy.
Prefer nice friction plastic or rubber coat.

Yea, razer stuffed they keyboard with all the macros stuff which i rarely see ppl at my place here using the extra macro keys.
*
Haha I think Razer still better, the extreme one was Logitech, G15, G19, G110 and G510.
G510 the maximum, 18 macro button, and got multi-layer if i not mistaken, but i won't even use a single of it.

Anyway for some MMO player, it should be useful if can get use to it.

this sentence makes people think that way. but oh well, this is mechanical keyboard thread, not forum for english communication. laugh.gif

Actually what I means by SPECIAL feature is like the some Z-board or SS shift keyboard set. So not really understand the keyboard "Mechanics" will said as SC2 keyboard.

Usually USB port will only support 6KRO. But with the USB ->PS2 converter should be NKRO.

Only if you're utilizing them, if your APM is like 30 or 40... then forget aboout NKRO, it doesn't even matter.
If your typing speed is like 20 WPM, then again... forget about NKRO as well.
*
Haha 30 to 40 is a bit too low lo. Eventhough play Dota also more than that if i got lot item to cast.
Typing standard typing speed among all public I think is about 50+ ba. I type fastest record not more than 100 ^^, heard somebody in this thread can type at 120 to 150 wpm really pro.

Ooh... 120-150 eh? notworthy.gif

I've seen people trying to look like a pro when their WPM is only 40+ with a ton of errors. Figures.

On a membrane, the fastest I've gone is 93 WPM. My average is at 70+ most of the time with 95% accuracy on average.
*
93 for me is consider very fast already. Because most of this type of typing WPM test they include some " ,' capital letter and some symbol.
Without all this i think i can type about 100+ bit. But always sibeh slow when come to this very disturb my typing 1.

you usually bottoming up space bar when u type very fast.
cherry mx black require force more then any mx switch, it might help a bit to prevent that bottoming key happen.
reduce the noise of typing.
*
Of cause mx black is quieter, if using MX blue especially BW even thought not bottoming the spacebar is very noisy.

You bought BW ultimate right?
So why you wan get these key caps? BW ultimate key caps got some transparent part allow the LED light pass through for the backlit, change the key caps means kill the back lit.
