QUOTE(Bap3 @ Oct 23 2010, 01:44 AM) there is a crystal clear instruction the link i gave previously..read it carefully... if you want to revert back once the official froyo is out..u can just disable lagfix and flash to stock rom as usual...unless u are not familiar with flashing/download/recovery mode.. Ah yes indeed.. sorry i missed out on the instructions. Now my only problem is flashing it back to my stock rom coz I'm really not familiar nor have any idea what to do from the start.. Unless of course there is an instruction posted somewhere that i missed... i would be grateful if there is a link to it.

QUOTE(chaosneo @ Oct 30 2010, 03:49 PM) watching anime/movies on SGS got my first smartphone, the SGS! i am not a very technical guy so can't do all the detail testing.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - tested video's that run smoothly:
AVI - 704x396 , bit rate 174kbps, data rate 46kbps. 23 frames/second. - subtitles in the correct place & readable.
MKV - 1280x720, bit rate 1051kbps, data rate ??, 24 frames/second - this one will lag when ONLY fast forwarding/back. - if using RockPlayer, its even worse, speech & video doesn not match at times, and expect some funny pixelation. - subtitles in the correct place & readable.
AVI - 720x576, bit rate 174kbps, data rate 46kbps. 23 frames/second.
MKV - 720x400 , bit rate 174kbps, data rate 46kbps. 24 frames/second. - default & rockplayer play smoothly, fast forwarding & back no problem. - not sure how to get subtitle to function & or change language using both players.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - using MicroSD class 4, using default SGS video player & rockplayer.
- beautiful screen! with 4.0" watching movies feels good. - the video looks gorgeous especially when playing 720p. - need some options able to tweak subtitles or audio language. Try MP4/AV - 1280 x 720, bitrate 1500 - 2000, Audio at 192kps. 30 frames/second. You will find the videos will turn out much better But only use videos that has higher bit rate than the above spec. Otherwise everything will be just the same. I am using MKV formats with 1080p to convert. but after conversion, 1 movie is about 1.2 - 1.3 GB Haha.. you have to sacrifice some space if you want quality..
