well, if u're in LRT, u can see iPhone users play games, nokia / SE users listen to mp3s, and androiders surf the net..

i liked to watch them while having both android and iphone in my pocket..

Didn't bother to convert. It appears bloodily sharp even when sized down to fit the screen

Anyone having trouble with the Kies video converter? The videos converted on mine came out jerky...

guys a quick question, my friend set his SGS to 2G Only, and his maxis called to say that he exceeded the data quota, but 3G Watchdog is only showing 400mb. He says that it might be because of 2G only settings. dont think its true right? anyone that uses 2G only care to share?

For me SGS is the best xvid player..

I used to watch movie many time with diffrnt format.. Mkv.. Avi.. Download using pc then transfer direct to phone without convert or compress.. The quality is superb.. Movie.n sound sync is good.. :-)

Maxis is infamous for overcharging data plan users. 2G and 3G would be the same except the speed and battery power consumption. Only reason I can think of is that 2G takes longer to load than 3G, then the time you spent on data connection would be longer but I doubt that affects anything... IIANM telco charges you based on your data usage(ups/downs) not how long you use.

huhu..just wanna share with you guys...

lately my phone cannot boot up in recovery mode..i'm using darky's rom 2.2...

last night i flashed back to stock rom jg4..and in the middle of flashing...suddenly..ODIN failed!!!...ahaaa...damn!!

what i do..unplugged the cable..restart my sgs and keep my finger crossed...

and then walllaa...my sgs boot up nicely again...with new FW..i guessed i'm lucky enuf last night..huhuuhu

and i gonna flash new rom this afternoon again..hahaha..

I used to have a lot of problems with Odin until I found out the right sequence to use it:

1) Launch Odin and select all the files and/or options needed
2) Connect USB to your phone without the battery
3) Go into download mode by holding vol up/down and insert the battery

After this Odin should be able to pick up your phone. Those guides I found on xda(and in this thread) usually recommend you to get into download mode first before plugging your phone to get connected to Odin which will cause many problems such as getting stuck at File Analysis/cache.rfs

u saw flicker and cacat colour on ur screen when u wan to go in recovery mode rite?in tat case,i tested n it works but u must be quick enuf.1stly u boot up ur phone with 3 buttons and wait the phone to show galaxy S then u let go power button,then u wait the screen to flick then quickly press power button with others 2 button. then u will be in!
