OMG... jz receive a sms from maxis telling me that my credit limit has been upgraded to RM1500.

This sounded so scary, as my limit was RM500. Now they increase like this, making me feel that they are planning to give a mega bill soon....

i didnt do anything.
jz receive a sms like this " Ur credit limit amt has been increased to RM1500 in recognition of ur using our service. Pls call for more details. tq."

of which i check thro my bills since i purchase SGS, always less than RM200 and i paid promptly... scary for this upgrade..

Browser can't add bookmark!

try to press on 'more', click add bookmark, but it won't store in the bookmark.

Did u tried wipe cache and data? --- if not, then do it, i always do this whenever i flash to a new ROM
Did u set ur APN properly? As i remembered when i flashed to JPA v7.5, when i open my apn list, there is 4 to choose, Maxis 2G internet, Maxis 3G internet, Maxis ... something with MMS la.. but all this option, none is set correctly.

So do the proper setting for apn dulu, then restart ur phone and see how.

like Titanium backup or mybackup.. --- free from market

i use mybackup pro(paid). once flashed, then install the mybackup again, and restore all my apk+data, also contacts, call log, sms, mms...

i personally like mybackup --- easy to use...

titanium - i find it very troublesome whenever want to restore, as u need to keep pressing it. but for mybackup.. just one click.

free version of mybackup is a trial version, ie after certain time u may have to pay. I m using the paid version (mybackup pro). but this is internet, 'paid' version can get easily if u search for it :-)

So after flashed, once gao dim all the setting, the 1st thing i do is go to market to search for mybackup app, then install, from there i can restore all my datas (call log, sms, mms) and also apk+data (hence all my hardwork at angry still remain)... so pls get the habit that to backup prior to flash.

When u use the mybackup, when backup data, u can choose which to backup, i normally dun back up the system. I afraid the backup system not 'click' with the new fw, then will give problem, so for system purposes, i will set it again after flashed. (system mean : caller ringtone... blah blah...)

I also feel tt JPO got less problem. But i m way to lazy to flash to JPO now, jz get use to th shortcoming of JPA, only wil change if i can't stand it anymore

U can't do via CWM. There is 2 ways plp do: once ur phone fully charged, do not unplug, do th reset of batt stat then unplug.

1st way: (via root explorer, it is a paid app, how to get th 'paid' app, 'search' it fr net)
- data/system
- look for battstat.bin, then long tap on it
- delete.

2) via terminal emulator (can get fr market)
- there is a serial of code to type, u can search it fr xda.
- make sure u switch off xt9 when u typing th command

once u done any of th above method, soft reboot ur phone, tt done.

Added on November 5, 2010, 1:02 amWhen u hook up with kies, it will detect ur region. Asian update for froyo, as mentioned earlier, that will depend if Santa visit. This mean even u r hvg a UK set of which u suppose to be able to upgrade but u hook kies in asia hence u will not be able to upgrade.

Oh if CWM got a function to delete batt stat, pls use it. I only started to use CWM when i flash DOC ROM recently.

Soft reboot mean u keep holding th power button ONLY until u see th samsung i9000 screen come out then release ur finger. But if using CWM to wipe batt stat, then u can choose th reboot function fr CWM.

I encounter this before but i set it to automatic and problem resolved :-)

Ur setting look very much different from mine, i also using Maxis and this setting was acquired from Maxis customer care. My setting will be written in yellow. Hope it is helpful for u

after doing this setting, then reboot ur phone.

when download v7.6, it is something like v7.6.1, looked like there might be some more version release later hee..

aha.... i think this give some light to someone
