QUOTE(justamember @ Nov 7 2010, 05:39 PM) Hey, 1 of the shop quoted 2.4k for the 16gb model..is it overprice? It is the usual price you will get for original SME set if you asked around the phone shop. There is a member here selling cheaper, you can look for him at trade zone.

QUOTE(jujx @ Nov 9 2010, 03:52 PM) you're trying to go in CWM right? This is how you should do it. Download CWM from XDA, rename it to update.zip put it into INTERNAL SD card. reboot into recovery(2e) choose apply update.zip then the phone will reboot into recovery(2e) again choose apply update.zip then it will boot into CWM. some questions to ask... recovery(2e) = android recovery? This are the steps I took... 1. install ROM Manager 2. press Backup ROM 3. Manager download recovery 4. reboot 5. hang

QUOTE(jujx @ Nov 9 2010, 04:28 PM) yes, dont use ROM manager. use the manual way. recovery(2e) is access from switch off the phone, then holdVolume up + home + power button for few seconds. so ROM Manager is not safe for GT-I9000? Thanks for the info by the way
