already did, it state there R/W, but when i paste, it the folder is not there, it missing. it also ask me if want to replace, but when i check it still the older version

guys..anyone using Darky's ROM...it's getting to irritate me more n more..first i got a FC while on call and sms..and then..suddenly i cannot go to recovery mode anymore...when i pressed the 3 button combo..my screen will go like corrupted screen for 1 second and then go to samsung boot logo...then it's repeated again and again..i tried for 20 times and somehow it stuck at boot screen...fear not..i'm not bricking my phone..just press power button and it will boot normally..sigh**..time to move on to other ROM..any suggestion guys?

not yet...still searching for feedback for stable rom...supposedly 2e recovery with CWM in Darky's ROM...but i don't why i cannot boot into recovery mode..nevermind will try later using one click root method..hehehe

Oh.. gosh... installed JPM, and now i only notice, when i sent chinese sms... i can type, can send, but they will not receive the chinese words...

anyone of you using JPM experience this?

No la.. My colleague with SGS (JPM) used Touchpal keyboard to type out a Chinese SMS message and sent to my SGS (JPM) - no problems at all, I could see the Chinese text.

He also sent the same message to another colleague using a Blackberry 9700 - no problem there also..

You need to mail, and do it within one week of your purchase. That is what Maxis ppl told me when I bought mine. However I got stamp from Maxis, I don't know why yours is not stamp.

Maybe they have mark down your phone IMEI. Anyway, the warranty card I sent is to Samsung (M) HQ, not Maxis. Maybe Maxis now take care of the warranty already instead of Samsung.

I don't think Maxis will handle warranty beside 1 to 1 replacement. They don't have technical expertise and resource for other kind of warranty.

don't worry le, if anything goes wrong with ur phone, you just need to bring the receipt(the day u bought from maxis), and just bring it to samsung. if receipt is lost, they will key in the serial number, but serial number wont be that accurate but still better than nothing lol.

They should put a warning "Handle With Care" 

serial number can't change because its physically there.. as for IMEI, I couldn't confirm with you because I remember coming across people saying IMEI might be wipe, but i don't know how and why. normal flashing should be okay. 

As far as i know, IMEI # is usually embedded with the GSM/3G Module in the phone, it is a fixed value which cannot be changed, its a unique code for the phones GSM/3G module, perhaps someone can verify this

1) Charge the battery to full till you get the full battery message
2) Use the phone till it is totally empty (stops turning on)
3)Charge again to full till you get the message again
4) Download and install a terminal shell application from the market
5) Enter the following "su" press enter
6) Enter the following "rm /data/system/batterystats.bin" press enter

Best to Preform steps 4-6 while in charger

you need to be rooted in order to wipe battery stats..
hmm.. but i am sure i read it somewhere.. either here or xda that IMEI can be wiped/changed.. oh well, have to wait for the experts.

Samsung can verify the warranty with serial number. Sending in warranty card is not essential. You can even lose the warranty card and box and walk into Samsung.

IMEI can be wiped is EFS partition is wiped intentionally using Odin or if the firmware has a copy of EFS. Keep your EFS folder safe by copying it to your computer using Root Explorer or Terminal.
