so it seems cannot be used for 1.8" hdd/ssd aaa.... well, for sata slim dvd should be no problem aaa, as tested by memkingdom... anyway, will try out the cables with slim dvd drive once i receive the cables... so many connector designs... |

I just saw slim DVD-RW drives at Lowyat Plaza which need this kind of connector. Just imagine 2 slim drives in one normal DVD slot. (1 blu-ray + 1 dvdrw) Maybe want to create a custom one so have to research first. Silverstone is one manufacturer which I know has made chassis that supports slim optical drive. |
