Added on February 9, 2011, 10:31 amMaintenance time is also one of the benefit of wowtaiwan vs US, due to the maintenance usually start from every Thursday 3 or 4 am morning, we hardly feel the maintenance, since most of the maintenance happen while we sleep.

is there many ppl playing wow taiwan and speaking english? or just in ur guild only?

I have to channel your question to Blizzard as i dont have such data.

In my experience, most of the players, understand simple english. This may be through their normal education or through the influence of movies, music etc.

Throughout my journey in wowtaiwan, i have encountered many English speaking taiwanese as well as players from mainland china. Just like some of us who prefer communication in English rather than chinese pinyin, they might prefer mandarin instead.

World of Wacraft player's demographic consist from age 17 - 60, for those younger players in wowtaiwan, no doubt some of them will have problem to converse in English due to the lack of exposure.

"Many" in your context is too vast for me to define.

Guild wise, we aim to become the hub for all English fluent player to join us in an epic journey in wowtaiwan.

If u are a new player using English client intend to play wowtaiwan, and upgrade the account to the latest patch, u may need to wait until after the patch in wowtaiwan to get access to it.

im a very hardcore player before but stop after my first baby born. hehe. playing with loth, clique and shidavere before.

looking to return to wow but latency and expansion cost is not very likely. also 15 usd per month while im only thinking on playing as a casual and not hardcore raiders anymore. might raid sometimes if time allowed.

want to concentrating on heroic farm, BG and others thing. Well im think if for pug i could always learn some of mandarin words that needed to find a group. hehehe. a simple one la..

In fact, with english client in wowtaiwan, we can read and output chinese words as normal.
