I think I'll be joining WoW Taiwan if the new server in Australia is worse than when it's located at the US.

*I tried to register once but the register layout is very different from the tutorial thread.. that kinda turn me off to be honest..
*
The tutorial thread? ha thats million years ago. Try use a google translate etc to get over the registration.

Thats part of the raiding content.

Actually, how does it feel when playing in TW community? do they all speak chinese in the channel? Let say in PUG, how they name those skill, in chinese as well? I'm too used to WoW US, everything in US. Transferring char from US to TW is not possible right?

Are ppl in TW helpful rather than *******? Are there more TW ppl or China ppl in the server? I don't actually have language barrier but playing in chinese is just not very my thing if I were want to play with TW ppl.
*
Its Taiwan server, off course trade chat will be in chinese, occasionally some english throw in. Transfering from US to Taiwan is not possible. If you are used to WOW US, off course you can use the US client to play wowtaiwan. The quest, skills and everything will remain in English.

As for your question about how helpful ppl are, how can this topic being comment, its all about the person who is asking for help, i doubt the same can be talk about WOW US, is WOW US trade chat helpful? Depends on personally experience right?

I am abit sensitive when i read your comment, i may have misunderstood you and i assume you dont mean it that way. I see no problem playing with anyone, be it, Chinese from Taiwan or Chinese from China and off course, ppl from all different country and culture in our guild.

In sum, just do a trial on wowtaiwan if you feel like, that is the best way to learn about wowtaiwan and the server.

Its always a trade off, you lose some, gain some.

Level 100 Finally - Bubu took about 22hours, minus the sleep duration in between.

Most of the time were spent questing, but then he did venture off and spent a fair amount of time hunting rares for enchanting mats and xp.

I have to admit, the line / latency suffer in the past 2 weeks, i believe it has to do with the undersea cable thingy.

Hi all,

Yes. I am being told that the original guide of this thread is longer valid.

Since i am no longer have the game installed, (which i will once i can) i will need help from everyone to chip in their feedback on how to make wowtaiwan worked with english client.

As far as i know, and i am still pretty sure, you dont need to register another taiwan account if you already have US account. Battlenet account can be used for all region.

As for how to register and how to set the WTF, please feedback. and i will update the guide accordingly.

As for the guild. The guild is quite dormant for now. as Guildies is playing Diablo, Overwatch, Tree of Savior and other stuff. It will be continue to dormant until Legion kicked in. The previous GM of the guild is now a DR and solving real world problem, so we are running pretty thin right now.

Yes, and i still believe wowtaiwan is till one of the best place to play wow due to the latency and fees structure.

Your help is required.

PS: i will update the front page that guide no longer valid.

Hidden, i not sure which you are referring to for your statement "*Btw Game time options is no longer available.", when i check in Taiwan store, the standard 30 hours game time and 30/90 days game time are still available.

Please post at coffeenottea facebook. We will try walk you through.

A few things that are important:

1) Have you register at wowtaiwan?

2) Is that the latest Battlenet launcher? Cause new launcher will have options for realm

At the login page you should change the region to Asia, and see if it shows WoW TW after logging in. (remember to press the account selection to see at the blizzard launcher)

If that doesn't work, a direct way to get a TW account with your US account is to buy a 30-hours game time card worth NTD150 in Blizzard store under Asia region (about RM20), you get full content directly that way for a full 30 hours play time.

If you merely just wanted to try out the game before spending money, re-register a battlenet account with a new email, choose Taiwan as your country, you may need to generate a taiwan ID number through random google website.

@sakon7 You may refer to this as well.

Hi,

My account status says WoW Starter edition (TW). So in order to get Legion I just have to purchase game time right?

EDIT: Is there a way to display the realm list in Pin Yin instead of Traditional Chinese?
*
Yes. Buy the game time, monthly / 30 hours and you are good to go.

As for Pin Yin, no. Server name is: 憤怒使者
