1) wow US got update.

So i updated and change it back to tw realm list, and same result as you, no realm available.

Personally i dont know if its because of maintenance or something wrong until someone using tw client and able to tell me if they can log in.

But usually tw maintenance on thursday, which is today.

TIme will tell

Ok. i logged into wowtaiwan with eng client just now, confirm this morning no realm due to maintenance in tw

well there's home and world latentcy

it will be better with proxy, but even without proxy wowtaiwan latency will be better than wow US

ok. I haven’t update to the MOP client so im not sure.

This is my view:

• Have you try using the updated instruction given at 1st thread, it works for 5.04

• Wowtaiwan haven’t MOP yet, should be MOP by this Thursday maintenance, so if you’re Mop client now, you might not be able to log in unless you revert to older client or change the client exe (I’m not going into detail on this here)

• I also done some search online, and some of the posts and forums mentioned no realmlist.wtf for MOP Beta. Now, im not sure if its gonna be the same with the MOP launched.

• If no more realmlist.wtf, I read it still can change at config.wtf


We probably need more time to check and confirm

Be patient there, will update once we confirm.

If I understand your question correctly, you’re saying can you put patch list as zhtw and let it auto update during Thursday tw maintenance?

Assuming you’re using English client and wanted to play with English quest and text

The answer is no. Because you’re using US client, and you’re update must be with US also.

Cant use US client and put patchlist as TW and let it update on Thursday, US and TW data wont merge. At least that is what we learned last time when we tried.

You can put as tw, but wont be able to update.

I myself put tw patch too. And change back to US to update if necessary especially after a patch Tuesday (US).

This will avoid early update and cant play until TW update.

ok. i checked with guildie who able to log in.

No technical issue.

Play as usual.

Minor trades / pvp etc no issue. Some taiwanese or players speak english.

Guild try to support raid if can, but usually limited spot only.

ya. have to admit, language is the major barrier

But since the game can be played using English client,if you're casual or PVP / arena only, dont see issue at all.

Since a few of us been updating our wow US client. We still have the realmlist.wtf with us.

Someone mentioned about no more realmlist.wtf,

from what I gathered on the net, can try like this.

Access to config.wtf and paste the followings:

Also paste the followings:
SET locale "enUS"
SET Portal "TW"
Save and try to play.
