i got a question, if i play wow taiwan, how is the expansion? can i bought US version used the cdkey thn play it on wow taiwan?

EDIT: Nvm, you're talking about TW client, i'm using US client :S

WoW US and WoW Taiwan are two different server, think at the logical way, you're not able to buy stuff in Malaysia if you're using Singapore Dollar.
But then you are able to use WoW US client to play WoW Taiwan server, just change the realmlist and install the fonts for the chinese words and you're good to go, bare in mind all the patch that WoW has are universal one.

Once again, i thought hidden has already updated all the details very clearly on the first post, i guess it's the Malaysia style again that just skip the first post and ask question that has been asked earlier.

k. Let me answer that, There is no need for CDkey to play in taiwan server. Just register, monthly fees / time card and play.

cannot, you buy US version cdkey, you play on wow US only.

wow taiwan dun need any cd key to play one.

you register for a trial account, can play liao, got some limitations.
then you buy time card or monthly card to reload your account, then can play like real account liao. no limit.

yes, much, much cheaper, better ping.
much cheaper since u can spend RM18 to buy 30 hours of pre paid game time.
example, each day play 1 hour, one month u spend RM18 only.
if each day play 2 hour then each month RM36
well if a bit hardcore each day 30 days play 3 hours then RM54, then better buy monthly card, not time card.


you can use english client also.

but you need to be able to read mandarin if you wanna interact with the local taiwan players there.

No, only when you are partied with a character on the linked account and both players are present when slaying the monster or completing the quest. Also, if the two characters are not the same level, only the lower-level character is given the experience boost.

Is quest experience tripled too?

Yes, but only if the quest was not trivial (gray difficulty) for either character.

Hidden, guess you could take this as reference, but i doubt that whether this is the same as in taiwan server or not.

Just tried, the game is playable with 700+ ms ping. Haven't applied latency fix or any proxy.

Wa 700+ latency, your line must be really bad. Im averaging 120++ only

RAF exp boost still works.
