chii lipoting in, playing wowtw in english client is running smoothly

I don't know why today when I used Ultima-proxy my account got locked and I got an email said that it was temporary because my account was logged in another computer, which means other IP address if I'm right. Yesterday everything was fine and Ultima did help. I did restart the modem once or twice.

Blizzard detected different ip logged in your account so they will help lock your account to prevent anything happen, happens a lot if you play on different CC most of the time, doesn't let your modem/router on 24/7 and using proxy.

But anyway, as long you are using proxy, you will face something like this, which may be headache to someone, but i easily got over it since its just a few click away to unlock my account.

I did unlock my acount again and again and they kept doing the same thing: lock my account :|

friends u will need use the Proxifier ownip setting to avoid this lock . You may only need to re authenticated 1-2 time only after that no more tthis problem

i really2 recommend that ultima proxy.. my friends been telling me that their latency reduce from 400++ to 200+ms.. 250-290 ms max... which is good.. hardly got delay and always stable line..

wowtaiwan generally 100ms only

well there's home and world latentcy

it will be better with proxy, but even without proxy wowtaiwan latency will be better than wow US

Anyone knows how to configure into WoW taiwan now since the realmlist.wtf is removed from MoP patch(just downloaded latest US client). I did searches online that you can only change using he realmlist.wtf? Help me I'm new here and wish to play on TW server since better latency

ok. I haven’t update to the MOP client so im not sure.

This is my view:

• Have you try using the updated instruction given at 1st thread, it works for 5.04

• Wowtaiwan haven’t MOP yet, should be MOP by this Thursday maintenance, so if you’re Mop client now, you might not be able to log in unless you revert to older client or change the client exe (I’m not going into detail on this here)

• I also done some search online, and some of the posts and forums mentioned no realmlist.wtf for MOP Beta. Now, im not sure if its gonna be the same with the MOP launched.

• If no more realmlist.wtf, I read it still can change at config.wtf


We probably need more time to check and confirm

Be patient there, will update once we confirm.

normally i will change .wtf to US to update then i will change back to tw .wtf to play wow tw

If I understand your question correctly, you’re saying can you put patch list as zhtw and let it auto update during Thursday tw maintenance?

Assuming you’re using English client and wanted to play with English quest and text

The answer is no. Because you’re using US client, and you’re update must be with US also.

Cant use US client and put patchlist as TW and let it update on Thursday, US and TW data wont merge. At least that is what we learned last time when we tried.

You can put as tw, but wont be able to update.

I myself put tw patch too. And change back to US to update if necessary especially after a patch Tuesday (US).

This will avoid early update and cant play until TW update.

but guys isnt it abit troublesome to do some trades / selling / pvp and raids with u know Chinese character symbols?..

we raid in guild only....so errr it will be troublesome abit, much worth it for the latency issues.
well chii got tarecgosa and some heroics.....so the raiding isn't that bad.
