it should works, are you sure you placed your "quest helper" folder inside add ons folder?

If yes, when you're in your character page, look at bottom left side see got add ons tab or not, click in and check quest helper is in there or not.

Addons are universal, it works with all client, but still, follow avaultz's way, see it work after that or not, you might have copied the wrong folder.

Well you can just PM any member in the game to ask the officer to invite you, to locate the members, type /who coffeenottea

500+ members, but most of them are alts we got about 30-50 members around during peak time from what i see around 9pm saturday last week, as for how the RL manage the members, you gotta ask the person in charge i just came back to WoW TW.

What he meant was, 200+ are the main players, while the rest are alt, that's total up became 500+ toons.

As you can see, main players can be casuals and hardcores, or even newbs that completely know nuts about WoW, so don't simply say he tipu lol.

WoW forum are always cold since most of the Malaysian are not willing to pay RM40-50 a month to play this game, but they are willing to pay thousands to buy cash item in shitty mmorpg.

I have switched to A and D for strafing due to i play other FPS as well, there's a time where i kept playing WoW and using the default Q and E to strafe, then when i back to FPS game, i uses Q and E and realized it doesn't work LOL, so i switched to A and D.

First of, welcome to WoW TW, and you should have asked people here to recruit you to enjoy 300% exp boost when party leveling together.

Now to your question, since you're now in starter edition, you're limited with only little access to the game, and yeap, talking to global channel are limited for your at the moment until you upgraded to full account.

You can just upgrade to full version at lv20, or you can start now if you wanna enjoy some chatting in the global channel, which i find not so noisy as WoW US, you don't have to create another account to re level everything.

Then you might need to register another account for that :S Its only possible to be done if your email is not registered to WoW TW yet.

Think after you upgraded to full account, you're possible to RAF other people, that's what i see those WoW US live streamer do to 5 account multi boxing. :S
