I think cheesing is normal in games like this. Like the Huntress or Orc's watch tower rush in warcraft 3 RoC ( when launched, pre-patch retail). Then came NE's march of the ancients.

You do have the choice to cheese yourself too. I believe by keeping your calm and proper control/placement, you can come up on top when being cheesed.
