Opera 11.01 Build 1160 Snapshothttp://snapshot.opera.com/windows/minor_11...01_1160_int.exe» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This is a snapshot of Opera 11.01, a possible future minor/bugfix release for Opera 11.
In addition to mouse gesture fixes and various other things, we have also looked at the top crashers in Opera 11, and several of them have been fixed in this snapshot.
Although this is a minor/bugfix release, you may notice that there are more Core fixes in this build than you might expect. This is due to our development model at Opera, where we often receive batches of fixes from the Core team that have been tested, and are ready for public consumption. Since the batch of fixes contains important bug fixes, we receive other fixes as well as a "bonus". We also get to test these fixes in public.

Opera 11.01 Build 1164 Snapshothttp://snapshot.opera.com/windows/earlofpu...01_1164_int.exe» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 11.01 snapshot: Mail improvements, crash logging and widget detection on Mac, and faster DNS resolution on Linux/FreeBSD
God ettermiddag frå Oslo.
There are lots of new interesting projects emerging at Opera behind the release of Opera 11. We’re not letting you guys see any of that just yet, but we will be serving more bug fixes and increasing stability.
Highlights: Fresh batch of mail improvements Experimental changes to the crash logger on Mac (more) Changed how Opera is detected during widget start-up on Mac (more) Slow DNS responses due to IPv6 fixed on Linux/FreeBSD (more)
Mac users: This snapshot only will contain a special version of our crashlogger to help us determine the cause of a very elusive crash on Mac. If you’re having frequent crashes or know of someone who does, than please use this build and submit crash logs as usual. (Other platforms have the normal crashlogger. The Mac crashlogger changes will be reverted after this special testing release.)
Mac widget users: You must uninstall all widgets and reinstall them using this build. We have changed how our standalone widgets detect the Opera bundle on your machine, thus making them much more stable and less prone to fail on update. Unfortunately we cannot automatically update older widgets. Get widgets!
Linux/FreeBSD users: If you have problems with connections being slow to initiate, or not initiate at all, we believe that this build has a fix for you. The problems we’ve identified are a combination Opera behaviors and bugs, one glibc bug, and some DNS bugs. We believe we have worked around most of these issues by determining if there is a usable IPv6 connection before we do the DNS lookup, and then don't do any Ipv6 lookup if there isn't. Please test this build and report back with network logs if you used to have connection problems and it works now, or vice versa.

Opera 11.01 Build 1175 Snapshothttp://snapshot.opera.com/windows/tannen_1...01_1175_int.exe» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Another 11.01 snapshot with even more crashfixes.
Hello, my name is Helge, and unlike Ruarí I have a life. That's why I don't post snapshots as often as him.
Here we go with another 11.01 snapshot with even more crash fixes. This build will hopefully fix the most annoying crashes from the last snapshot, for example logging in to vkontakte.ru
Please remember to give as much information as possible if you do experience a crash and you upload the log. Reproduction steps are always valuable.
Changelog
Core CORE-32345 (Crash on page load on some sites, vkontakte.ru) CORE-35650 (Severe repaint issues on Facebook)
Windows DSK-326050 (Installer crash when upgrading a running copy of Opera)
Linux DSK-326062 (2011 signing keys in Debian packages)

Opera 11.01 Build 1179 Snapshothttp://snapshot.opera.com/windows/powerboo...01_1179_int.exe» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Opera Portable for Mac (USB)
I’m pleased to announce that Mac users now will be able to put Opera on a USB stick (or encrypted disk image) and carry their bookmarks and settings, mail, and everything else with them.
Linux/FreeBSD and Windows users can sit this one out, and skip straight to the changelog.
Mac user, please stay with me. You can install Opera to /Applications like you have always done, or you can put it on a external USB stick or an encrypted disk image and have your preferences go with you.
The rest of the blog post will cover technical details about the changes relevant if you are running more than one copy of Opera on your Mac.
If your unsure where your preferences are stored, open the opera:about page to see the full paths.
Opera Portable for Mac Installation Download and mount the disk image Drag Opera from the disk image to an USB stick or external drive Open Terminal.app and drag Opera ontop of the Terminal window Press backspace once then type /Contents/MacOS/Opera -createsingleprofile
You only have to run this once and it will create a hidden folder /Volumes/volume-name/.operaprofile/ that will contain all your bookmarks and settings, mail, and the disk cache. With Unite you can think of it as an instant-on server in your pocket. There is also a short-form -csp.
Managing multiple installations of Opera We’ve put an end to the use of the PrefsSuffix file to manage multiple installations. The -pd (personal directory) option have also been deprecated as we never used personal directories. Replacing it is -ps (preference suffix) which works as -pd used to do.
The default suffix for preview released changed with this build from ‘110’ to ‘Next’. You can rename your preference directories to mirror this change if you want to preserve user-data from previous preview releases of Opera 11.
Please note that you cannot easily move between a stand-alone installation and a regular installation. This is not even supported. We don’t expect much trouble for you if you carefully move files between installations.
Changelog
Core CORE-32762 (Crash prevention for spell checking) CORE-35898 (URI fragment identifier wasn't being exposed in all URIs) CORE-35350 (Expose the widget object to extension scripts)
Desktop DSK-324730 (Crash on printing Trafikanten.no) DSK-309863 (Disk cache in Turbo mode prematurely emptied after bringing up a context menu) DSK-321933 (Deactivate auto-reload in speed dials when the address changes) DSK-322244 (Pinned tabs too wide with a collapsed tab stack)
Windows DSK-324504 (No close button on tabs that are not selected)
Mac DSK-326380 (Opera Portable/USB for Mac and single profile) DSK-323299 (Optimize bookmark menu updating. Prevents freeze on keyboard input.)
