Dear Sifus,

I have pay down payment for my forte, sign loan agreement which is 3.12%, bought number plate. The car is ready now.

Just because my old car trade in with the 2nd hand dealer Kia Panel, they ask me to claim my windscreen as it is already crack.

In order for me to Bring my NCD to the new car, now i need to wait for the claim process of my windscreen which the 2nd hand dealer have paid cash to the workshop so that they can speed up the process.

Any short cut to bring the old NCD to the new car?

Thanks.

If you buy a forte or vios or H is up to you. Is our/your hard earn money which we can afford it..

Before I bought forte, I was looking at polo and pug 308. It all come back to your own preferences to compare.

And If you want to compare, there is no ending.

Got my white car yest evening..paid 2.3K extra for the bodykit.

Car reach the bk colour was like cream colour, paint job and workmanship was bad and left a lot glue marks on the bumper as I said no such thing to the SA as the oem will be fitted properly.

To my horror today after washing, 1 of my passenger door was adjusted higher. Can see marks on the door support screws and below body where the door entrance like got spraying marks and dented and can't close the door properly.

Call SA said I want to change it this saturday for the bk and told him how could they adjust the door it is fucxking new! He said might be they just want to sit the bk properly at the down portion..wat the hell then is OEM?

Damn disappointed. Hope this sat can get all done once and for all.

Taipan,

Will disclose the dealers name if this saturday they can't fix it. Damn angry. My car body got dented and re-spray marks below the passenger door entrance.

Common sense tells you who will want the car like this.

Dear fellow Forte owners, I just test drived a 1.6 SX unit recently as I am quite interested to get it. I do however feel it is slightly underpowered, what say all of u? I am however very pleased with the interior as I think the quality is top notch and NVH on the unit I driven is very impressive. Is there any particular problem with the Forte that I should be wary about should I decide to buy it? How about the 2.0 SX? Is it a fuel guzzler or pretty okay compared to say Civic or Sylphy or Altis?

One of the complaint that I think I saw is regarding the Forte having the problem of swirling to the left despite alignment is it? Any other advice is appreciated too.
*
Bro,

I have been driving for nearly a month on my 1.6sx. For fuel wise consider average but do not compare to vios or city. Underpowered? i just feel all right for the feel of power and it is not underpowered. For pick up wise it is slower then a Myvi as i have driven before this due to the size comparison.

Problems will occur if you choose any brand and depending on your luck. No major problem so far for me. The only problem i had is the squeezing sound on left and right door panel and problem been fixed when i send in my car for 1st services. Other then that, a ti ti ti sound during cold start thats all. It is said normal form the SC. For the alignment problem, all cars do have due to the level of our roads condition..u can spend time at a regular tyre shop to rectified the problem. Even if you install new rims with new tyre, a swirling to left or right is possible.

Quality wise, if far better if you compare with T&H brand. Do join forum such as myforteclub.com and kiafortemalaysia.com to learn more.

Thanks.

Bro, which SC you went to solve the squeezing sound on  left and right door panel? I sent to Glenmarie SC to fix, the sound is still there.  sad.gif

Bro,

Im from Klang but i send to Selayang SC. Worth the journey! Full of attention given and they take things not in a rush from their Services manager Arul, Asst. Manager and down to their mechanics.

Guys,

I just change my compressor as a warranty.

Just notice that the aircon when I put the temperature to Lo, both (passenger & driver) side are cold with the same amount of coldness.

If I were to put it at 22Celsius as what I always put, the passenger side aircon is cooler then the driver side aircon. The different can be felt a lot.

Any comment? Of it is a normal operation?

Regards.

Bro,

No there won't be any light unless u press one time the yellow light will appear for ACC and press one time again for the green light for ON.

Normally to start the engine there won't be any light. You can read the manual book as it is stated there.

Consumption is very subjective as depending on your driving behavior. Mine 80% city and 20% highway will only give 430 - 450 km per full tank.

Im a heavy footer.

Regards.

installed in alor setar, price : RM120 special for me....coz is my old fren's shop. normal ppl will opt for RM180 for the PCB im using, coz is a very high quality PCB. 75% silicon, 25% rubber..i think if any1 wan fix, he can go for RM140-150....coz the product he sell ald RM120(not included fix, juz buy and go)...u guess it right, he din even untung a single cent from me xD

btw, tested in HW....stability juz affected ABIT ONLY.....is juz like decrease by 5%....juz wobble very little when i was cruising at 130KM/H overtaking buses and lorries...

btw, any1 plz help....is there anymore way 2 make my current situation more fuel saving?? i applied engine treatment.....and using full synthetic oil lagi....car might b more powerful(Full Syn+RON97 caltex(the best...better than BHP)+VS n GC+adjust throttle cable+Engine Treatment)...
wonder if i loosen again the throttle cable(bcom like when ori came), will the FC improve??
*
Have you change your rims? I have change mine and can see a slight improvement in FC.

bro..u misunderstood his statement. He mentioned that he uses back the original tyres, so it means that he still uses the same rim size (17"). Only that he change the original & heavier 17" rims with other lighter 17" rims. In such a case, it should do good in term of FC & also no harm done to the speedometer reading nod.gif

Bro izputra your right..

smile.gif no worries. Just here to help one another...cheers and Happy new year!
