Use WinSCP to make life easier.

I know where the .desktop files are.I intentionally put 2 additional phone shortcut there so I can have phone shortcut in my all 4 desktop.
However when I use appmefo to move shortcut to folder the app recognize 4 shortcut as 1 & refuse to move the extra 3 shortcuts.

Done that.Not working also.
Do you know the the working directory of ApMeFo?

Added on October 25, 2010, 2:36 pm@meLi check ur pm, just sent u a link for rar file containing NFSU data files already unzipped from ipk, maybe better to add that to ur dropbox, instead of the ipk file which many noob users are having trouble unpacking.

by reading coment below i guess i have installed preenv.
sifu porseline just wanna check with you i have downloaded the .rar file and i have extract it.

all i can see i a NFSUDATAFILES --- open dat i can see com.ea.app.nfsuc ---- open dat i have appinfo.json, nfsuc and also another folder res_nfsuc.
Now which folder do i move to my N900 and do i need to create any special folder in my N900 before doing so.

Ok,confirmed I got the notice for the PR 1.3
Build week 36 means exactly the same as leaked PR.I'm going to wait for the manual flasher version.Anyone going for the OTA update?

For testing purpose the devs actually use a weird way of booting MeeGo.
Basically what I do is copy the meeGo image to SD card & flash the kernel via flasher.The phone will automatically boot to MeeGo but only once.
Once it's restarted you'll go back to maemo.

No proper dual booting like Maemo/NITDroid

A bit.But the download speed still ok.

Flashing you don't have to worry all those, or you can use Nokia Software Updater to do it.
Basically, backup your data and settings, and you're good to go. If you want to maintain your apps, then only OTA update, but OTA update "can" be risky and I'm not sure it you can use OTA as meLi encounter error message when try to update via OTA, I suppose there is some conflicts with some apps? With OTA, you're just updating instead of install fresh, so there may be some issues especially if you have install certain apps that maybe cause conflict.

Anyway, for flashing, everything you can get back through restoring the backup, the apps will be listed for you to choose to re-download and re-install.

no worries now we are happy banging our best friends girlfriend i mean with the ported or emulated games...
bro just wanna check you still have the NFSU file with you right. how big is the file size ??
