My thought on latest MeeGo latest built,
I was very disappointed after testing yesterdays image.The whole OS felt very laggy plus opening some basic app like dialer take so long.Booting time also take some time.
The laggyness could be caused improper SGX driver.Since I was using only class 4 microSD card the whole lag become too much apparent.
Today is another day & hopefully things improves.

Back to Maemo,
After using all red/green/orange theme I've settled for blue theme.
Still bunch of things to do before my phone is restored to it's proper state.

I just installed Sygic 10 & it's working fine.Check back your steps.

Maybe wait for the PR1.3.. Thats when MeeGo is an official build and a stable image soon to be released (according to my cousin in Intel).
In PR1.3 you will have an official dual-boot between meego and maemo. Guess it would be a tri-boot then when PR1.3 is released..

p/s: GOSH i cant believe im away for a month and v7 already.. didnt even have time to read v6

Has anyone tried blessn900? another camera app for n900.. seems to reduce alot of noise (compared to fcamera)

Correct me if i'm wrong

Hey guys do you agree with me that the facebook native app in n900 is not really a native app.. is more like a web app with a widget? any native apps out there?

some games (asphalt5) need access to /media/internal - so put a sym link to :

mkdir -p /home/user/webos/gamesave
ln -s /home/user/webos/gamesave /media/internal

1. mkdir -p /media/internal
2. cd /media/
3. chown -R user:root internal/
4. chmod -R 755 internal/

5. mkdir -p /home/user/webos/gamesave
6. cd /home/user/
7. chown -R user:root webos/
8. chmod -R 755 webos/

9. ln -s /home/user/webos/gamesave /media/internal

Then lunch Asphalt icon.

cd (game folder)
chown -R user:users Asphalt5

that changes the permission of the folder and enables it to save games.

2. Hildonize it (still gotta look through it)
3. Build and compile for n900

I'm planning to do this for GmobileXT
The garmin application used in 5800..
