Yup, got it back last week, then back to ICU and back again. Seems they said it's normal, I need to test with other N8, but seems some forumer also PM me they having same problem. Not sure if it's really normal or my unit extra special a bit cause when I compare side by side with the demo unit last time, mine is seems more obvious/serious, then when send to NCC, also compared with another customer's N8 and the customer service also noted the differences, and the last send in, we tested and compared with the demo unit available there also can see the difference.

I compared with my friend's Samsung Wave (Super AMOLED), even set to maximum brightness, it's showing perfectly fine. I suspect it's the brightness/contrast settings, maybe my unit is set too high by default, so even I set the brightness (light sensor) to lowest, it's still looks bright; Imagine watching video where the dark areas are bright. Not sure it's contrast or brightness.

Maybe I'll try to do a proper comparison with video (hopefully can see the problem from the recording).

Anyway, if it's firmware settings, then I think it can be fixed through firmware updates; OR, maybe IF there is an app for us to adjust the brightness and contrast settings.....

why HD2 can get a stable ROM for Android right?...I'm not sure...but that's what I heard...

i might take one, also check if that guy is selling 16GB class 4 kingmax as well. my friend with the N8 might want, the 16GB built in is not enough for N8 HD video recording.

urm...actually why you need class 10?...my Nitdroid install on 2gb no class MicroSD but is working fine

i once got myself DNA 8GB class 6..it dropped from coffee table height to the floor..which was about 2feet high..then the pc cannot detect..laptop or phone or memory card reader too..

sent it for an exchange...came back home..purposely dropped the microSD card from the same height, same result..
sent it again for exchange..test again purposely..still same..exchanged for 4times..so..i got my full refund back..
