QUOTE(porselinaheart @ Oct 30 2010, 12:21 AM) hmmm, same version as mine. try to retransfer files meLi. Are you using SSh to transfer the files? I'm wondering wether i should instruct everyone to use midnight commander to transfer webos game files. It seems to be the only method that doesn't seem result in having to retransfer the game files. +1Retransfering the files worked for some cases. QUOTE(N900rocks @ Oct 30 2010, 12:26 AM) No point using USSD widget after PR 1.2Just uninstall it. P/S:As experienced kopitiamer,I suggest those who want to flame others to open thread in kopitiam. But prepare backlash from the "oldfags" |

QUOTE(one1002 @ Oct 30 2010, 12:57 AM) i have no idea sir.. I did have thought of installing the beta neopwn but I was afraid of running into another Navit like fiasco.should be released soon.. i'm kicking myself for it too, and that is why i installed it straight away..to stop from kicking myself!! Full version should be near now.I read it somewhere that full version of neopwn will be released before end of this year. Anyway on other hand,is it even legal talking about neopwn here? PS/WARNING : No more flaming here!If there is someone who started it again & somehow as TS I get any verbal/suspension warning,I'll be very unhappy.Trust me,you don't want me to be unhappy. |

QUOTE(Asus W3V @ Oct 30 2010, 05:49 PM) I've tried it.Not many functions included but the whole OS runs fairly well.QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Oct 30 2010, 05:50 PM) Ok.Here it is.But I think you need at least class 6 microSD to make the OS runs smoothly.Use windows pc/laptop to do it.MeeGo installation Things that you must have:- 1)Flasher tool 2)Winrar 3) Win32DiskImager - https://launchpad.net/win32-image-writer/+download Install MeeGo 1)Download the latest image from here : http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/releases/1.1/h...et-armv7l-n900/ Download all the files & dump it to C:Program Files/maemo/flasher 3.5/ 2)Extract the meego-handset-armv7l-n900-1.1-mmcblk0p.raw.bz2 with WinRAR to the same folder. 3)Run Win32DiskImager 4)Click open icon(you’ll know which one when you run the program) & type *.* at the filename space(This to enable the find program file with all file extension) 5)Choose the meego-handset-armv7l-n900-1.1-mmcblk0p.raw as your file 6)Make sure you have inserted your microSD card into the phone & connect the phone to your computer. 7)On the Win32DiskImager application right side you should see the device letter.Set it to the microSD device letter. 8)Now click “write”.Press “yes” to any mumbo jumbo which pop up next. 9)Disconnect your phone from computer & turn it off(THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT) 10)Open flasher tool & copy paste this exact command - flasher-3.5.exe -l -k meego-handset-armv7l-n900-1.1-vmlinuz-2.6.35.3-10.3-n900 n900 –b 11)Now the flasher will look for the device.Connect your phone & after 1 minute or so you should see MeeGo booting. This is the safest step to install MeeGo yet.The dual boot method is bit too complex to figure out & I've only done it with linux OS.If you have any problem pm me. For other "average" users take note,I will nor recommend you to install MeeGo yet. Added on October 30, 2010, 6:32 pm@meLi NFSU v1.48 working with your phone? Class 2 & 4 will work but the OS respond will be slower.
Main reason why I'm looking for class 6/10 microSD now. Actually Andy already put my name for the next "event" during the N8 event. This post has been edited by super_evil_alien: Oct 30 2010, 06:47 PM |

You'll notice the OS working more smoothly once you OC it to 800MHz
However only when playing heavy games & videos you'll really notice the difference between stock clock & OC-ed clock |
