for ur guys information, i jus buy a corsair cm2x1024-8500c5d ram
my mb cant boot up when i put both of the ram !
first of all, my mb is msi p45 noe 3.
it works perfectly when i'm using 677 ram.
after i buy the 1066 mhz ram i cant boot my mb on 2 rams.
i had seen many forum say tat need to be overclock it to 2.1v and 5-5-5-5-15
so i dono anything on overclocking.
can any pro overlocker teach me how to solve this problem??
please!!! i'm quite nervous about it.........

Had the same mobo like you since the mobo only support 667mhz even put 800mhz ram also no use. Its suppose to clock down your ram automaticly to boot up.

but the product spec says can support

ok it wont boot at all with the corsair??

take an eraser and using that u clean the gold connector.plug it in and try booting up the pc

no... both of the ram actually works..
but after i put both of them on slot. my mb cant boot up.
i try to put it 1 ram and it works perfectly and switch the ram also same.
the only problem is when i put both of them in two slot it cant works.
should i update the latest bios ??

u tried all slot and give u same prob? update latest BIOS might be useful

mine to state ur stock timing and voltage for both ram?

Maybe when both ram plug in exceed 4gb? I dunno but I think I read it somewhere it can support ram up to 4gb.

haiz... den i'll try update my bios tonight.
my ram is 1 gb + 1 gb on 1066 mhz.
if i put 1 ram, the clock will be in 1067 on bios. stock v is 2.1 but i set auto at bios.
but i'm just not familiar wif overclock, so i dono how to set the latency to 5-5-5-5-15.
any 1 can teach ?

You must be extra carefull with bios flashing...otherwise u end up laying on ur bed crying...

For ram tweaking + OC u need to know basic before start...

oic... can teach me wat steps tat need to care for when flash bios??

and... can give me any website or forum to teach overclocking ??
