time 9pm movie so the upstaris then left i can see blue light right cinemas room i think 5 or 4 hall
the sound not much louder and not much bass and screen smaill

i want go another cinemas mana best kat Penang
how about Big Cinemas and Cathay Cineplexes at Prangin Mall
which cinemas best with big screen and good sound system high louder

All cinema in malaysia I think didn't have stunning sound system.

Is it cinema using HD audio like DTS-HD/TrueHD? I'm afraid that they are just used 5.1 audio and vitualize to 7.1 audio.

That one i dunno, looks like the sides and rears are array style...not sure what system...I'm sure its Dolby Digital or SDDS but not sure how many channels.

I see there are more than 10 speaker in each cinema hall. I doubt they are using HD audio.

IMHO, Cinemas definitely aren't using HD.. well at least not yet...
- if they were, they'd have to put up the DTS HD logo
- most 2D films are not shown in Digital Format yet.. all 3D are digital

Recently watched Avatar on my Yammy 467 system and I realise that there are tonnes of sound (audio) that I never realise nor heard in the cinemas. A lot of small small sounds that add details to the whole movie I can safely say that I'm a believer now... previously never really bothered or thought there'd be that much difference.

Nowdays home entertainment quality (PQ & AQ) are more stunning than cinema. Our cinema must do something do upgrade their system.

I only bother goin to d cinema is cos I am impatient n cant wait for d mv to be released in bd..
At home in my own HT [proj n 7.2 system], I dont suffer prblms like searchin for a plc to park n stupid patrons in front who block or behind tat kick ur seat or worse those tat nid to comment on d runnin of d plot..
