The Zeta 2.0 is a very nice kit although the transformation is a bit fussy (but nothing compared to the 1.0). You'll need to use Mark Setter to help it stick. thanks for the Eva info i think i also saw Zeta non HD color 30th anniversary selling at litt tak too but dunno whether it is ver1.0 or ver2.0 selling price also RM166. i wonder can panel line be done on HD color? The other three being PG RX-78-2, PG Zaku II, and PG RX-178 Mk. II (i've taken into account the GunPla technology at the time when the kits were released). The pros: 1) the best looking version of Strike Gundam ever to be released. The design was taken from the short film Gundam Evolve 08 rather than the one featured in Gundam Seed / Destiny. 2) very very impressive articulations. When it was released in 2004, it had the best articulations, but most recent MGs are almost as good. Only thing i'm unhappy about the articulations is that the upper torso couldn't bend forwards or backwards (like MG SF) and it can't tilt left and right (like MG Exia). But in a way, i'm kinda glad because when you attach the Aile Striker it becomes back heavy and the lack of upper torso flexibilty can help withstand the weight. 3) the price itself. I remember getting my PG Strike for RM462 and PG Skygrasper for RM160 (Skygrasper is the cheapest PG ever!!!). I wouldn't say PG Strike is cheap, but it's reasonable to me. At least it's not overpriced like some other PGs. 4) very nice hatch-open gimmicks. It's a sad thing that most recent PGs no longer have this gimmick. 5) the Grand Slam - a big badass sword with reflective coating. Need i say more? The cons: 1) LED for the eyes are too dim. This seems to be a very common issue for most PGs and not really a problem. I'm just nitpicking here. 2) lack of stability. As mentioned in #2 above, it becomes back heavy when you attach the Aile Striker. Pair that with the loose upper hip joints, and this is what you'll get after letting it stand for a while. Yes, PG Aile Strike will do the limbo. Of course, this could be solved easily if you put it on the stand or just detach the Aile Striker and let the PG Strike stand on its own. I heard PG 00R and PG SF have the same issues, but i haven't really played with them to confirm it. 3) shoulders could move forward and backward at a very small angle only. Could use more movement range. 4) the inside of the shield requires more details. It looks too bland. 5) size - this could be a pro or a con depending on how you like it. I put this as a con because it's just too big to fit into my detolf shelf when it's on the stand. And with the back heavy issue, it means i can't leave it standing, so i must place it on the stand, outside of my shelf, collecting dust. Some people say the fingers have difficulty holding the Grand Slam, but i've not encountered this issue before. Even without the help of the peg in the hands, my PG Strike's fingers are rigid enough to hold any weapon. I wouldn't worry about this so much because the weapons aren't as heavy as PG WZC's buster rifles or PG SF's combined beam rifles. So that's about it. Other than the common problem of some loose joints here and there, there's nothing more to say. If someone asks me to recommend a PG, i will undoubtedly unhesitantly say PG Strike Gundam, because it's that damn good. Please take note, this is just my personal opinion and yours may differ. Thanks for reading. woah... many thanks for the comprehensive feedback of the kit I really do love the design especially the shield (somehow i luv this shield design more than any other shield in gundam) and of coz the grand slam too. i think basically i already make up my mind to go for it... need to start saving up already
