Erm guys...just wondering...been looking around for zippo lighter fluid in penang for some while and mostly the sales ppl just look at me funny...i wanna use it for panel wash but I can't seem to find any in Penang...maybe I'm not looking hard enough...would any penangites mind pointing me in the right direction?? Thanks!

btw guys...just wondering...is it just me or are the later gundam series (seed and 00) mostly just rehashes of UC timeline stories? (seed = gundam, destiny = zeta and 00 = wing)

u can get the zippo lighter fluid at canavan street. Nanyang Book Co.Sdn Bhd an Art accessory shop  (opposite prangin mall, near a shop which sells famous egg tart)

Why are we discussing about zippo lighter fluid in this thread?
Sorry...didn't realize this wasn't the place for gundam modelling questions...thanks stevenxsteve for the help though!

I'm not sure if this is off topic...but how many of u guys out there prefer UC mobile suit designs to the alternate universes? I personally find the Kampfer, Sazabi and Sinanju to be a few of my favourite UC designs...as for alternate universe designs...it's hard to find the bulky design I root for...except maybe the Providence Gundam, Seravee/Virtue or the HeavyArms Custom...what about u guys?

alot of favourite mechs, if i have to pick 1, i'll pick Zeta gundam, really good design(at that time 1985~1987),
its got aero dynamic, unlike some later transformable type gundam. i even thing the 00 flag not really that aero dynamic.
The Zeta's probably my favourite gundam design of all too...it's the only MG i have and in my opinion the Zeta 2.0 is one of the better MGs out there. Nu Gundam comes in a close 2nd for me...

I will always love the old school grunt design, preferably Zaku I and II. Those guys are awsm wub.gif
As for 00, the avatar speaks for itself laugh.gif
Couldn't agree with u more...grunts are da bomb! (Though I do have a slight preference for all things Char/Full Frontal...lolz)

i prefer beginning 30 then original beginning haha
but for GPB series, the must get is Zaku F2000, Bear Acguy, Forever Gundam
since it is the original design for the series while other just change its color
*
Hmm...actually I think the beginning gundam is the only original design in the series right? All the others are just mods of existing kits. Zaku F2000 = zaku custom mod, bear acguy = acguy mod and forever gundam = Rx78-2 mod? Not sure though as I don't have a thorough knowledge of the series smile.gif

I have an MG Zeta 2.0 and it's pretty sturdy. It's also got better weapons than the Rezel commander (beam rifle, beam cannon, two sabers and arm mounted grenade launchers)...but since the Rezel is actually a REfined ZEta Leader class...i guess the weaponry will be about the same...but the Zeta 2.0 comes with an Argama mock-up stand. Not sure if the Rezel C has it though. (And the Zeta's Wave Rider mode is way cooler...)

Rezel's rifle looks better than Zeta's, but unfortunately the Commander Rezel only has the beam launcher (cheapskate Bandai).
Hmm...I'm not sure about that...both rifles look the same to my untrained eyes...lolz...this is Zeta's:

and this is Rezel's

Minor differences la I guess...well...the Rezel was based off the Zeta...lolz

Larger pipe, slimmer but more integrated e-pac, the absence of the jutting sensor, no cartoony yellow parts.
Very minor details indeed, but it's those details that make Rezel's appear nicer.
*
To each his own. But I do agree that the yellow bits make the rifle look cartoony. Too bad they decided to go all realistic on the Rezel rifle and design it purely in gray with one white tube...I sorta like the two different colours on the Zeta rifle (but that's just me). The Zeta rifle also undergoes some simple changes during transformation to wave rider mode...I find that pretty cool too (as you can probably tell...I'm easily impressed). Probably since the Rezel rifle was already so streamlined with the slimmer e-pac etc; they didn't need to integrate the rifle-transform feature on the Rezel.

The Rezel Commander's launcher though looks better than the cartoony blue hyper launcher of the Zeta.

QUOTE
MG ReZel commander type better or MG Zeta 2.0 better ah guys?

On a different note, some people might be pretty sick of the RWB colours of all major Gundams...in which case you'll probably prefer the dark blue/gray/white of the Rezel. But then again if you think the blue is too monotonous; you're likely to find the Zeta more appealing.

But Parody is right; the Rezel, being manufactured in 2010/11 definitely has better joints and technology etc than the Zeta 2.0. It's also got a better internal frame. Whichever one you decide on; I don't think you'll be disappointed smile.gif

What's not to love?

1. The replacement of the awesome Full Armour Hyaku Shiki Kai mega beam rifle with a generic Rezel rifle.
2. The replacement of the Delta Gundam shield with a phallic looking skinny shield that has 4 ugly protruding missiles.

Those two are the reasons why I refuse to buy any Delta Plus gunpla.
The FA Hyaku Shiki Kai design was overkill, looked like a moving fortress, but the rifle was indeed pretty awesome. If they did release the Delta Plus in MG, I hope they don't stick that crappy Rezel rifle on it; I would really prefer the original rifle:

The shield imo is unique. A shield which doubles as a weapon like the Rezel's. Unfortunately, it seems quite a number of transformable suits have got a phallus for a shield (Zeta, Rezel, Zeta plus, Delta plus...), I don't know much about the Delta though so I can't comment on the shield.

Delta Gundam's shield looks like this:
user posted image

Looks nicer since it's a typical wide and flat shield, rather than the cone-shaped phallus.
The Delta Gundam also has a revised Hyaku Shiki rifle which has a longer barrel.
*
Looks quite nice actually...am I just imagining things or are the Delta/Hyaku Shiki actually bulkier a bit than the Delta Plus? If they released Delta in an MG HD version like they did the Hyaku Shiki...i'd be sold...lolz...also a bit curious about the origins of the Delta...it was a prototype but instead of realizing it they built the Hyaku Shiki due to some movable frame restrictions right. Was the Delta Gundam actually built during the UC timeline or did it remain a conceptual model only?

isnt the word Kai and Custom the same? ones in japanese.. well u know which word..

Custom's in Japanese? Whoa man have I had my languages mixed up...lolz

Guys...I need an opinion from you guys. I want to make a diorama of two of my favourite HG kits that I have now...the Nu and the Sinanju...I want to make it a weathered battle royale between the two with the Sinanju holding the upper hand (take that Amuro and all you UC heroes! No one kicks Char's ass 3 times and gets away with it!)

My only issue is that weathering and battle damage will conflict with my initial plan of making a nice clean pristine Sinanju. Do you guys know of any nice weathered Sinanju pics?
