i'm definitely missing something here....

ok then i want GSX-401FW Stargazer!

Finished snap fit of the HG Gunner Zaku... just left some tiny detailing which couldn't be done since I left my paint elsewhere.

Thumbs Up:
1. Simple kit which can be completed in one afternoon.
2. It's actually pretty bulky when compared to other HG 1/144s of the same series.
3. Bigass gun is full of win. The red copper wire included for the cable looks pretty good.
4. Additional right hand for the beam rifle hence you don't have to unsnap parts. But you'll need to do so if you want the axe to be held in the right hand.
5. Monoeye is easy to rotate... unlike the HGUCs which always give the fear of snapping.
6. Awesome shield with better articulation and it can actually swing forwards enough to provide cover for the entire left arm. The HGUC Zakus' shoulder shield lack the double joint which allow this.

Thumbs Down:
1. Obviousv seam lines in areas such as the forearms and legs.
2. The lack of decals makes it look pretty plain. Some numbers or army emblems would be sweet, such as those bundled in more recent HGUC kits.
3. It's not the most sturdy kit out there, especially the joints.
4. Due to the lack of ball joints, the front skirts can't really be seperated for individual movements without sacrificing stability.
5. The leg armours inhibit a lot of ankle movement and therefore giving some problems to posing.
6. The bigass gun isn't really easy to pose as its butt tends to get blocked by the torso when it's held underneath the armpit. Similar problem arises in every kit with a long cannon or launcher.
7. No trigger finger, but this is very minor.
8. Near-useless neck. The design of the helmet inhibits a lot of movement too.

Conclusion... best 1/144 Zaku Warrior out there... why bother with the normal version when you can have a bigass gun? Rey's Wizard pack looks good but puny rifle loses out. The one which looks more badass would be Yzak's Blaze Zaku with twin gatlings and poleaxe, but Bandai refused to release it in HG form.

haha he's not anti PG SF, but at least he lead the anti-PGSF-ness here.

whoa, nice one! thanks for providing a VERY GOOD example to mod my SF. (esp the front skirt)  

[color=purple]No offense to the painter but it seemed pretty normal to me. Maybe because this kind of paintjob is so commonly used in SDs.

But still better than most of us here
