Japanese yen is at an all time high now. Shops looking to make a quick buck will increase their OLD stock price to follow suit.

QUOTE(Parody @ Nov 23 2010, 12:47 AM) Err... sour plum? True, everyone said MG Turn A and MG The O was fugly, but I still love 'em. To each his own. If you meant sour grapes, then i'm not. I got the money to buy PG SF, but i just don't feel that it's worth it. It's better off spent elsewhere. And about the bashing part, aesthetics is very subjective. I just don't find that it deserves to be called a PERFECT Grade, compared to the recent Gunpla quality. I'm not some mindless zombie who'll scoop up everthing that Bandai produces and say that it's good. It's part of being human. We THINK. Have you never in your life saw a Gundam and thought to yourself... "Man, that's fugly"?. You might think it's awesome, so who's stopping you from getting one? Don't let my opinions hold you back, my friend. Aaanyway, here something for the laughs. No offense intended. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « And Beginning Gundam is looking good to me, lol. Wait for MG |

About 6pm. But traffic from Federal Highway is mess today due to protesters in KL! Try an alternate route if you can.

Then Seed got the short end of the stick! A host of Strike variants and Freedom! Would have loved a MG Justice or MG Providence to go with it....

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Dec 9 2010, 03:11 PM) Finished snap fit of the HG Gunner Zaku... just left some tiny detailing which couldn't be done since I left my paint elsewhere. Yes, the Seed Destiny's Zaku's are indeed awsm. Been hoping that Bandai releases an MG version using the Zaku V2 frame for a long time » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Thumbs Up: 1. Simple kit which can be completed in one afternoon. 2. It's actually pretty bulky when compared to other HG 1/144s of the same series. 3. Bigass gun is full of win. The red copper wire included for the cable looks pretty good. 4. Additional right hand for the beam rifle hence you don't have to unsnap parts. But you'll need to do so if you want the axe to be held in the right hand. 5. Monoeye is easy to rotate... unlike the HGUCs which always give the fear of snapping. 6. Awesome shield with better articulation and it can actually swing forwards enough to provide cover for the entire left arm. The HGUC Zakus' shoulder shield lack the double joint which allow this. Thumbs Down: 1. Obviousv seam lines in areas such as the forearms and legs. 2. The lack of decals makes it look pretty plain. Some numbers or army emblems would be sweet, such as those bundled in more recent HGUC kits. 3. It's not the most sturdy kit out there, especially the joints. 4. Due to the lack of ball joints, the front skirts can't really be seperated for individual movements without sacrificing stability. 5. The leg armours inhibit a lot of ankle movement and therefore giving some problems to posing. 6. The bigass gun isn't really easy to pose as its butt tends to get blocked by the torso when it's held underneath the armpit. Similar problem arises in every kit with a long cannon or launcher. 7. No trigger finger, but this is very minor. 8. Near-useless neck. The design of the helmet inhibits a lot of movement too. Conclusion... best 1/144 Zaku Warrior out there... why bother with the normal version when you can have a bigass gun? Rey's Wizard pack looks good but puny rifle loses out. The one which looks more badass would be Yzak's Blaze Zaku with twin gatlings and poleaxe, but Bandai refused to release it in HG form. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(Parody @ Jan 6 2011, 07:03 PM) [color=purple]No offense to the painter but it seemed pretty normal to me. Maybe because this kind of paintjob is so commonly used in SDs.
