will the warranty of the iPhone 4 void with this customization ?

I think that is a very interesting question... I did a Google search on it and here's what I got:

I don't necessarily think that taking off the screw voids the warranty at all. i have removed the two screws and removed the back (to clean the lens) and even replaced the phone without any problem. Even the Genius guy told me that you can take the screws off and remove the back. It won't void the warranty. However, taking apart all the pieces will void warranty. i'm sure you can install that piece but just as long as you put the original one back when you need to take it to the genius bar.


My opinion is this. TECHNICALLY according to the rules, opening the screws will void the warranty.
But no one has to know about it when you take it back for warranty.
As simple as the installations are... a little extra care goes a long way

How long will the item arrived?

There are no reception issues here in Malaysia.
I have death gripped my phone for one whole week while I was using the phone without any casing.
Didn't experience any dropped calls... etc. etc.
This is really just media blowing things out of proportion and making a story out of it.

The case replaces the glass...
So if there were no reception issues with glass..
then I strongly believe that there will not be any reception issues with this.

U know one thing I noticed is that the phone is really really comfortable to hold when using the beveled back...

Also some has asked if it has heat issues... For me it kinda cools the phone because most of the time I am in air conditioned places so the metal back is cool... So it tends to nullify any heat produced by the phone.

If you use the beveled version the snap cases may not fit.
This is because the back will be raised by 1-2mm due to the curved edges.

But there is something for you if you want to use your snap case...
you can opt for the FLAT metal backs that come in many colors...
There are also the special edition types that even come in FELT finishing!

if using tis casing, will it cause electrostatic discharge while using the phone or during charging the phone since it's made from aluminum? sorry i'm kinda noob on such things..
